As much as I truly love what I do working in the background of other people’s brands, there’s just something special about having something of your own, don't you think?⠀ .⠀ What is now known as @memphistypehistory actually began long before me as a photography project and then a series of paintings by my partner-in-time @rlwphillips. I ended up involved... surprise, surprise... by working with her in the background to promote her work.⠀ .⠀ But an email from a book publisher 📚 and the kind invitation by Rebecca to join her in writing a book changed all that “in the background” stuff.⠀ .⠀ I'm talking more about the experience of writing a book that then continued on as a blog and is now a PODCAST – pinch me now! – over on the blog this week. All about side projects at the link in my profile @dizzycaitlin.⠀ .⠀ PS: This picture is by @kellykinghowe who found my book sitting at the brand new @novelmemphis and ready for her closeup!
Finalizing the Penniless to Profitable Masterclass this week and getting it ready for your ears! 💪🏻 So this is your chance to submit any questions you have about pricing, packaging, and positioning your brand to make more money – send 'em my way in the comments or via DM 💰
I’ve always had a thing for the side project. But you know what? Not that long ago I tried to swear them off. SPOILER ALERT 🎧 It didn't work! ✨See what I mean by clicking the link in my profile @dizzycaitlin or at caitlinlhorton.com/podcast ✨
Often we only see the main thing. And while that is, of course, worth experiencing, let's try to go one step further sometimes. Study the back of a beautiful flower. Examine the more boring side of a wall. You never know what magic you might uncover... #TuesdayTip
