Help me decide! Yesterday I shared a post on the blog about my morning in Old Town Alexandria. I decided to share my favorite pic from that day. However, as I looked through I couldn’t pick just one. So here’s a few is my favorites. Which one do you like best #1-4? (link in profile)
If you know me very well, you know I love birds. I could sit for hours and watch them and take tons of pics of them. . . . This picture was from a couple years ago when I was in Rochester, NY at Lake Ontario beach by myself for the day while Rob was in a conference. There were a bunch of these large seagulls walking along the beach ahead of me and some got scared and would fly up and perch. I believe this is a First Winter Gull. This guy flew up on the railing so he could get a better look (at me.)
21 year ago today, I walked down the aisle to this guy. Well more like I almost tumbled down the stairs, but we won’t talk about the 2 inch heels I decided to wear so I didn’t have to alter the lace trimmed dress that was 2 inches too long. . . . I am thankful for him because he puts up with my rants - my crazy cackle when we watch silly TV shows - my obsessive need to keep tissues until they are absolutely all used - The fact I sleep with my feet out of the covers which causes the comforter to slide all the way to the floor on his side of the bed - My constant struggle with worrying - and so much more! . . . Looking forward to more date nights, late night bible studying, cruises, road trips, work trips, binge watching weekends, and even the boring day to day life. Who I am I kidding? Our life is hardly boring. I love you, @rob_stanford!!
This is my grandmother who raised me. I took this picture back in the 80’s with a film camera. We were with Granddad in Europe. This picture was taken while we were on a train from London to Edinburgh, Scotland. . . I recently went through all my old pictures and scanned them in and I came across some pics that I was actually amazed about that they were taken before the digital age. Like this one. I just love everything about it. . Grandmother would have been 93 yesterday. She’s been gone since 2011. I miss her but I know she is happy, pain and worry free, dancing with Granddad.
So proud of my guys tonight. We got to see both of them march at Band-O-Rama. Junior at Auburn University and Freshman at Auburn High. Both bands were awesome.
Thinking back to the day we went to see Atlanta United play at this beautiful stadium
