Getting ready to leave for the second leg of the Craveable Keto tour tomorrow. I was just looking through all the photos from the first leg of the tour and feeling very grateful that I was able to go out and speak and meet so many of you. And by “able to” I mean emotionally. 50 pounds ago, the anxiety would have overtaken me and there would have been no way I could have gotten up in front of a crowd of people to share my story. I would have been so terrified and afraid to be seen. I would have felt like all that I had to offer was overshadowed and negated by my weight. As if my value was solely rooted in a number on a scale, and not the gifts I had to offer to the world. That was the old me. The girl that spent 38 years learning how to love and accept herself. While I’m not yet where I am going, I am so proud of all that is already behind me. With each passing day, as I shrink physically, I grow emotionally. And while I am still nervous at the start of every tour stop, I’m out there doing it. Being seen. Sharing. Being vulnerable. Telling my story in the hopes that it might help others. If any of this sounds familiar to you, just know that you are not alone. 💚💙
Have you tried my Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies? Delicious and so easy. Just mix and eat! There is a clickable link to the recipe in my bio.
Yum! Yum! Yum! Crispy Baked Garlic Parmesan Wings! I could eat these ALL DAY! This is one of the appetizer recipes from my new book Keto Happy Hour and I just posted it on my site for all of you to enjoy. Link to the recipe in my bio.
Posting about eggs at night? You bet! Of all the things I’ve had to eliminate from my diet, I miss eggs the most. Scrolling through all the yolk porn on IG has me lusting after eggs like they were Doritos (my kryptonite food). I’ve cooked these Buttery Herbed Eggs in my stories about a million times. I love them so much that I put them in my cookbook Craveable Keto. Now back to those Doritos... I can have a lot of self-restraint with having off-plan foods in my house or when I am at others peoples homes or in restaurants, but I can’t, I repeat CAN’T have Doritos in my house or I will obsess about them until I finally eat them. They are the only food I can’t say no to. I have to steer clear. Do you have a food like that?
Following in the footsteps of my friend @ketoislife and spreading some good low carb love around. Tag your favorite peeps in the comments and find some new friends!
Hey guys! With all the foods I’ve been eliminating and since I’ll be back in the kitchen working on my dairy free book, I thought March would be a good time to do another Whole30. This will be my 5th Whole30 and I always feel so great when I do it. Care to join me? I’ll be sharing more resources as it gets closer to start time. But if you are curious what it is, just google Whole30 and you will find a wealth of knowledge. You can also type Whole30 in the search bar on my site and find some good resources and recipes. ARE YOU IN? #pllcwhole30
