Day one of the road trip has consisted of ocean views, great music, lunch with a view, and a charming fairytale hotel. The final stop of the day was a spontaneous treat from Le Macaron because I just can’t resist mint chip (or cute macarons). I’m looking forward to my first full day of adventures tomorrow.
Stopped by the most magical coffee shop this evening! A menu of delightful pastries, coffee roasted in-house, and the most charming atmosphere. I think I’m smitten. ✨ I have a feeling this is going to become my new favorite.
The hotel is booked, so now it’s official! Counting down the 27 days until I’m back in Santa Barbara. 🌴 Here’s to days on the beach, fairytale adventures in Solvang, wandering down State Street, and picnics at the zoo.
Cookies from the Hello Kitty Cafe truck because sometimes you just need some sprinkles in your life.
This primer has been a game changer for my makeup routine. Pore blurring, skin protecting, and texture evening I’ve been finding myself skipping foundation more often than not over the past two weeks. Inspired by the geisha beauty practice of putting wax on the face before applying makeup (watch the video on @tatcha’s channel for a more in-depth look), The Silk Canvas both preps the skin for an even and pigmented application of makeup, as well as creates a barrier for the skin against pollution. I caught it at just the right time and was able to purchase it before it sold out, but it’s definitely worth the wait when it comes back in stock.
Having spent part of the weekend getting caught up in my memory planner I couldn’t resist sharing my spread for Valentine’s week. I adore the colors in this @TheStickyStation kit (and the Jane Austen quote). Definitely a great week for happy mail, adventures, and getting things done.
A new milk tea place went in down the street and I couldn’t resist stopping by at lunch today. The bright colors make me happy and the tea was delightful! What moment brought you delight today?
A few highlights from yesterday’s opening night at Masso Osteria: First, the tasting menu is absolutely stunning. From old favorites (the pomodoro and caramel budino) to new features (absolutely try the garlic bread and roast chicken) you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Second, I met Scott Conant! He was stopping by tables last night and after being a fan of his restaurants for years now it was great to say hello. If you’re in Vegas this is definitely a must-try!
Lunch with a view. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing afternoon on the lake. I can’t wait to explore more of the menu!
