Sunsets are my favorite. The first sunset as husband and wife is extra special, don't you think? Ashtin and Jacob sure got a beautiful show last night! Love spending time with these guys! Our Saturday was full of butter beer, Wimpy burgers and wizardry!
I promise, the things I ask of you during your session have great purpose... My greatest joy as a photographer is capturing YOUR joy! #clickinmoms #portraitphotography #sistersister #blackandwhite #laughter #joyful
My Sunday has been all high fives & carousel rides... How 'bout yours?! #dreamjob #disneyworld #disneylife #carousel #disneyphotography #magickingdom #highfive #familyphotography #clickinmoms #remarkablyimagined #everydaymagic #beautifullife
I simply adore that this career is more than just photography... Thursday, I added baby snuggler and flower wearer to my job description. By the look of the pacifier in one hand and the camera hanging from my @holdfastgear I could also add wicked smart multitasker to that list too! Also, I love that his mamma insisted on capturing this moment! 📸 @arianajones2911

I have a confession... I have been ready to call it quits over here for a little while. But that little voice (that surely we all have, right?) reminded me, you are not a quitter. And, I suppose that voice was right. I missed loving photography though. I was sorely lacking the passion I once had, that started me on my journey 8 years ago this month. After lots of soul searching and long conversations with some of the best friends and colleagues a girl could ask for, I decided that I needed some space (it's not you C Hill, it's me). So last year little by little, I scaled back. Then I realized, my kids are at school all day, my sweet friends, colleagues and even the dogs were sick of listening to me, Facebook is a black hole and I missed being a part of something bigger than me. (soul searching is a hard, lonely process y'all). I did the only thing I knew, started looking for something new. I found the best team to be a part of at WMHS (which my boys conveniently attend) and as it turns out, this Jill of All Trades (master of none) has a few more skills in her yet! TO BE CLEAR, I fully intend to continue C Hill Photography while I learn how to be part of a team once again. What does this all mean? Well, not much really. Session availability is a little more limited & it may take me a tad bit longer to respond to inquiries. I'm happy to say, after a little over a month, my passion is coming back & I long to be behind the camera more than I have in years. The last (almost) 2 years without my mother, have rocked me. MS has me shook- stress is a son of a gun y'all! I'm ready to be present in all of the moments the Universe has planned. I am forever grateful for the opportunities God has presented to me. Thank you, to all of my client family for choosing to continue on this journey with me. Much love-C
Jamie and Jon were married yesterday, in front of their family and close friends, at First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception that followed was full of lovely wedding party speeches, dancing & lots of laughter. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Valentine!
