Happy Sunday! We love this day of the week because we ALWAYS take them off. They are for family time and most weeks it’s the only day Troy and I have off together with our kids. I guess you could say they are sacred :) Today we are inside snuggled up trying to ignore that’s its winter outside (aka freezing!). This image from Jaimee and Dillons 35 degree wedding day reminded me of that :) it was quite the day... full of freezing rain for an outdoor ceremony. They didn’t care one bit though! They were just so happy to be married. This is one of my favorite images because of her smile. She may have been freezing but it was the perfect excuse to snuggle in with her groom.
When fall shows up in Savannah and it’s December. That’s a win for me! @caroline.f.turner
The sun shined this weekend and it almost didn’t even feel like January. It was so good for my winter hating soul. We’re halfway through the winter(hopefully) and I’m praying it stays mild. Does anyone actually love winter? Feel free to share with me WHY if you do 🤣
Obsessed with this sweet moment captured with @caroline.f.turner ,her maid of honor and her Momma. Having 3 little girls gives moments like this on wedding days a whole new meaning for me. 10/10 times you’ll find me crying behind my camera when mommas help their daughters into their wedding dress. 😭 Can’t wait to show you more of Caroline and Wesley’s sweet December day!
2018 you were too good to us. While every year is full of highs and lows this year brought so many highs. It brought our sweet Penny girl and made us a family of 5. Motherhood to 3 has taught me so much and really required me to slow down and be more present with the girls than ever. For that I am so thankful. Between bedrest, having a baby, running a business that shoots around 40 weddings a year and selling our home rather quickly and closing on land and now building our dream home. Contracting it all ourselves with the help of Troys dad my goodness it has been a full year. In 2019 I am most excited to see our lives slow down a bit. Less traveling, more time spent at home, watching and enjoying every minute of our growing girls. Also I may be a TINY bit excited to finish our home and get moved in 🤣. Cheers to 2018 and Hello to 2019! We hope your just as good to us! HAPPY NEW YEAR friends!
Just wrapped up our 2018 wedding season with @druhyman and Alex in Charleston. On my drive home last night I spent time reliving every single wedding from the past year. What a dream every single one has been. Every Bride & Groom we had was such a JOY. Dru & Alex radiated love and excitement ALL DAY yesterday and closed our year out with a bang! Blessed to know and celebrate these two! Peep our stories from last night for a quick peek into their day. Sneaks to come!
