It’s with a heavy heart but with an equal measure of excitement that I am leaving behind my pinup adventures. 5 years ago, changing my style and getting into in the pinup scene saved me and my mental health and the time has come once again for a change. Holding on to the past means you can’t move forward and fighting change limits your possibilities. I loved Little Miss Doo Wop, and I still do, but she’s hanging up her pencil skirts and wiggle dresses. My focus now is on things that make me happy in my new reality and capacity as a very busy full time working Mother - my beautiful baby girl Genie, my wonderful Husband @doodlelegs, my doggos and my family. My singing lessons. Making home and keeping it a nice place to live. Work; my very ordinary job yet sense of purpose and my supportive friends, old and new. THANK YOU to everyone who has followed me over the years and made it such a cool journey. Please stick with me after my name change - some real life shit is coming your way. Far less filters and highly edited content but much funnier I promise!! I’ve made some lovely connections on this platform and I’d like to keep them alive and make more. Thanks to all the brands who gave me a chance to work with them and the great photographers and other bloggers I met along the way. Please keep in touch. 2020 - I’m coming for you! Oh, and just as an aside, I’ll try and save the planet whilst I’m at it too, as if I don’t have enough shit to do! LOVE YOOOOOOU!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
I just made my first purchase from @andkeepshopping - paper tape for all my Christmas presents! 🙌🏻They’ve got a cool recommendation programme too, so if you say I referred you and add the code Emily Dye (tis’ me real name!) at the checkout you’ll get 15% off! They sell some incredible and reasonably priced sustainable and eco-friendly swaps. They’ve got some lovely Christmas gifts too. You’re welcome! 😊
I’m trying to gradually cut down on my plastic usage and shit that can’t be recycled. I’ve already cut out face wipes and now I’m moving onto shampoo bottles. Going to give this shampoo bar from @ethiqueworld a try as it was highly recommended to me. Anyone else trying to cut down on plastics / non recyclables and do you have any top tips? #giveupthebottle
15% off selected items on my Depop. More to come!
I’ve learnt how important mental health is more than ever in the last year. Your mind - it’s rough in there and keeping your mind healthy is something we should all prioritise. I’ve brushed my mental health aside too many times this year, but I’ve kept fighting and dragging myself up. But the turning point for me only very recently was acceptance. Acceptance that I was unwell and that I needed help. This wasn’t easy to do and saying words like Post Natal Depression, Anxiety and Stress still make me cringe with embarrassment and to some extent, shame, but if we don’t say these words, we will never get better. I’ve got a long way to go, but days like #WorldMentalHealthDay make saying shit like this that little bit easier. I feel like I’m not alone, and that it’s ok to not be ok. Get the help you need and practice some self care and love, everyday, but especially today. 🖤🖤🖤
I’ve made a start adding items from my extensive pinup / repro / rockabilly wardrobe onto Depop. I’ve got 5 years worth of clothes to add, so watch this space! Many items have never been worn! Link in bio.

How’s everyone enjoying the bank holiday? Loving the weather today! We’re off to celebrate my wonderful mother in law’s birthday, plus watch the East Coast Truckers Convoy (it’s a weird Yarco thing 🤷🏻♀️😂). What’s everyone got planned?
