Spent the Easter weekend with my family on their farm / ranch and it was just what I needed: Getting away to the quiet countryside, reflecting on the reason of this holiday, and laughing with family was so peaceful and filled with joy. 💜✝️💜What did you do this Easter or Passover weekend?
Inspired by my incredible childhood memories of Easter baskets from my mom, I created grown up baskets that a girl could look forward to with equal anticipation (and it doesn't even have candy!) 🍭🍫🍬| on the blog - www.theabstractlife.com

In my travels I always try to find local spots full of charm and passion for what they do. Originally, @grondinhi's quaint space and garden seating had my eyes going AWOOOGA! (cartoon style), but it was the French-Latin fusion food that made my tastebuds do a happy dance! Thanks for making Honolulu's Chinatown that much better Grondin 😘#alohafriday
Seeking summer Pinspiration and came across this boho beach gem! 😍 This embodies so much of what my dreams are made of. Sadly, The Dust Jacket Attic is no longer active :/
Sweaters are just blankets you can wear to work! 😅 While it might be spring it's still chilly in my book so I'll be wearing my professional blankets a tad bit longer! 😉 Ps: am I the only one who picks out Sunday night what they're going to wear on Monday? Weekly ritual since childhood, thanks to mom

Not letting the gloomy weather bring me down! If anything, it's motivating me to go find things to do to keep things interesting! See my posts on San Francisco's Japantown & outfit details on the blog | theabstractlife.com PC: My amazingly talented stylist friend, @nikilips
There are only 3 historical Japantowns remaining in the US-all residing in California: LA, San Jose, and San Francisco. The latter's Japantown is the largest and oldest such enclave. Japantown is sometimes called J-Town, Little Tokyo, or Japanese Town, Nihonmachi. Keep an eye out for my introductory post tomorrow on SF's J-Town to learn more!
My Pacific Coast Highway trip wasn't limited to ocean views (though I wouldn't haven't been miffed it was!). I was so blessed to spend whole days hiking through Redwood Forests and feeling completely in awe and humbled by their grandeur.
