Gonna be out doing this in Berlin this week. You’ll find me somewhere on Museum Island or, the way things are going, a German prison! Thanks for the photo @will_wie_immer :)
Thanks for all the love guys. This quote from Nietzsche came up in a book I’m currently reading and it felt pretty apt: ‘He whose life has a why can bear almost any how’. Wishing you a glorious weekend x
Haven’t posted in a while because I tend not to post when things aren’t going well, but, ‘life’s not always butterflies and clear blue skies’ right!? Current location: Berlin. Busking has been terrible, not just here but everywhere I’ve been this year. Rules are getting more strict with regards to noise levels and the areas you can’t play. Here in Berlin they’ve literally built a police station next to the best spot! When I do find somewhere I really don’t do well which leads to me question myself as an artist which then leads to all the kind of thoughts about alternate career paths etc. All this is pushing me closer and closer to the exit door of a job that I’ve loved for many years. A job that has connected me with so many of YOU. Cuzn is not over by any means I just need to have a good think about the next step, I’ve got lots of new songs I want to get out to you guys but no money to record. Crowd-fund maybe? Looks like I’m going to have to start taking cover jobs again.. and maybe even shave my chest, get a couple of tribal tattoos and try out for X-Factor.. Suggestions in the comments please x
Come bathe with me today.. 2pm and 4:15 outside Bath Abbey x

Fitter, happier, more productive. Comfortable. Not drinking too much. Regular exercise at the gym, three days a week. Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries. At ease. Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats. A patient, better driver, A safer car, baby smiling in back seat. Sleeping well, no bad dreams. No paranoia..
Hi guys, it’s been a while! I’ve spent the last few months in the Austrian alps with my best buddy and musical collaborator @paulnoels. We were playing 6 shows a week at an Apres Ski bar which kept us fed and watered (mainly beer and jagermeister actually) while we were writing lots of new music, which I will share with you in the coming months. As I’m still without management I’ll be hitting the streets once again this year: In May I’ll be in the UK, June/July in Berlin, late August I’m in France and November I’ll be in California. I’ll confirm exact dates etc on here and on my Facebook page, but it’s looking like it’s going to be another adventure of a season, working the streets like a musical lady of the night.. Thanks for sticking around, you’re amazing. I missed you x
Hi all, this is me signing out for a bit. It’s been an unbelievable year in so many ways, as beautiful and awe-inspiring as it’s been painful and heartbreaking. I feel I need to take some time to try and make sense of everything that’s been happening in my career and personal life so I’m off to Austria to live in the mountains for a bit. I’m going to snowboard, drink whisky, probably not shave and write a shit load of music with my best friend and collaborator @paulnoels for a few months. The plan is to record a new album in the spring and have shows booked all over the world come the summer. The future is bright, and I’m super excited. But for now, I wish you all the happiest of holidays. I love you and I’m so grateful for all of your support. Richard x Photo by @seasonsquad

New toy. Working on my drumming faces.
It’s getting a little cold for this Busking lark! If anyone is or knows someone who may be interested in booking shows for me etc in the UK/EU, direct message or comment below. I’d really appreciate your help on this one! 2018 is the year to get off the streets, what do you reckon!?
