Tis’ the season🤒❄️😷! Cold and flu season are officially upon us and that means busy school nurses! Last year the EFLS updated computers for both Mrs.Saul and Mrs. Redmond through our grant process and they couldn’t be happier. We checked in with Mrs. Saul to see how she’s liking her new Dell laptop and she noted that it: 💙made a world of difference at the beginning of school with the numerous staff training presentations she was responsible for. 💚has been a key component of her annual EpiPen trainings for staff. 💙the updated/faster technology routinely helps with documenting student health profiles (especially in these busy cold/flu months!) So glad we were able to help make their jobs faster and more efficient through this EFLS grant.
Just a reminder that there is an EFLS meeting tomorrow - Wed 11/13 at 7:30pm in the Point Road Library. See you there!
You haven’t heard from us in a while but we’ve been working on LOTS of new things! Committee heads are up and running, committees are forming, trustee meetings are underway. There is one team in particular that has been hard at work (behind the scenes) for the past few weeks. We are excited to show you what they have been up to. Stay tuned next week!
Last call to be part of the Children’s Art team, led Kim Gervais. They are officially up and running and looking for a few more helping hands. Have creative ideas? Great! Not creative at all? That’s great too! In addition to brainstorming, they also need help in the classroom, working with kids and executing ideas. It’s truly a fun committee and the final results are always super creative, sentimental, exciting and memorable. Contact us at:
or send us a message for more info.
Just a reminder that the EFLS has a meeting tonight. 7:30pm in the Point Road Library (Enter through back door of school - closest door to where you enter the car line drop off lot). See you there!
We hope you have enjoyed reading our signs and chatting with us last week as the EFLS “POWERED ON” 💙💚! Thank you @danagalkin for planning the week’s events, our volunteers who opened car doors to greet children, handed out snacks and poured coffee. Lastly, thanks to everyone who came out and learned about what the EFLS does. We hope we can count on you to help 2020 be our best and biggest year yet!
