Right now my bedroom consists of one piece of art above our bed (better than an air mattress at least!), all my clothes in a Rubbermaid (still working on getting stuff packed around here), and several big baskets full of diapers. I can’t wait to have my new master closet. So I’m the meantime I am looking a photos of my last master for inspiration. Swipe through to see photos of my last closet.
On days like these, I miss our old house & this muted chalkboard wall. But then I have to remind myself that we had totally run out of projects to do- and it was time to move on. I can’t wait to get this new house all put together so I can enjoy it.
Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in and helped me make decisions on the DIY fireplace mantle (see the story highlights in my bio for the whole process, and watch me nearly avoid disaster! 😅) I can’t wait to have more spaces finished in this fixer upper of ours, but chaos is just the reality of living in a construction zone. So I’m the meanwhile, enjoy this photo of my slightly put together dining room space (which looks nothing like this right now, btw) I think there is so much pressure on social media to be perfect all the time. And honestly, blogging has made me guilty of that fact... so I have been trying to be easier on myself. It’s actually been nice to just let go of my perfectionism by sharing the real mess and real life in my stories (with kiddos screaming mommy every now and then 😂) So I just want you to know that I am a real mess most days. But life is still beautiful.
