I’m taking a mid-winter break that has me ridiculously excited! On Tuesday I have surgery and while the recovery will be just a few days, I felt the pull to take this time as a real break from werk, werk, werk and keep it social media free to disconnect with my phone (that takes up so much of my attention) and connect with my family and myself. I'll be back on Monday 24th July refreshed and revived and probably over-sharing because I love talking with you my friend! 😘
Is there anything that makes a home feel more homey than a few plants strategically scattered about? ☘️I've amassed a collection of orchids and fiddle leaf figs in our home and just when I think they are no longer growing and should be tossed out, a new leaf appears and I remember that sometimes when you can't see anything happening on the surface, it doesn't mean that something isn't still growing. What is your favourite house plant?
New blog post! After the cake is eaten, the dance floor is empty and your dress is in storage, your photographs will be all that is left to help you remember the best day of your life 🥂This is not the time to choose a photographer only because of their price, my friend. Today I'm breaking down on the blog how much is wedding photography is worth and when you see the reasons behind great photography, I think you'll understand why it can be expensive and more importantly, why you'll be more than ok with the investment 💖 #angelahiggins
Almost 10 years ago I quit my job with just 3 confirmed weddings and a heart full of hope that I could turn my love of photographing beautiful things and moments into a career 🖤At this time I wasn't photographing weddings with extravagant flowers or couture gowns so I used to practice with what I had. I'd photograph my own jewellery and supermarket flowers over and over so when I did finally get a bouquet like this or a Tiffany engagement ring, I knew what to do. What are you doing today to make your dreams a reality, my friend? ❤️💋 #angelahiggins
