No matter what you do for some peace, listen. It does not matter that it's tea, painting, walking, etc or you may even find punching numbers or diving into genealogy gives you that same feeling. Do it as often as possible. Make time to do it and just listen. Listen to what is around you, then shift to what is inside you and and finally what is within your heart. There is something you need to learn or hear to help you on your journey in this human experience.
4th year of Lole White Tour with my mom. If you have never experienced a large yoga class, this is the one to try. So many people, you can feel the energy, the love , the light and it fills your soul with peace. Kick your mindfulness practice (tea counts too) up a notch and give it a try 🙏💕❤ #lolewhite #dopandora
This quote is so true of yesterday for me, how about you? Was your mind going like the energizer bunny? Calm it down with a mindfulness practice. This can be tea, yoga, meditation, dancing, walking etc out your whole focus on the action. If a thought or words come up. Let it, but let it pass by. We are not our thoughts or the words it tells us. Make space for yourself with this practice by letting this excess go. 🙏💕❤❤ Namaste
Stay authentic to yourself, no one can truly copy YOU. Do what feeds your soul, be crazy, be creative, speak up, be different. Shine your light because no one can take your place or dim your light. Shine bright my brothers and sisters. 🙏❤💕
Have you tried bowl tea before? It's the simple form of tea and easy to do even with a large mug at home. Choose large leafed tea (oolongs and puerh are great choices), put the kettle on. Take a few leaves 3-5 and put them in your bowl (or cup) and add water. It's a great way to become more attuned with your tea but also your inner self. Sit down, reflect as you sip simple tea. #bowltea
Yesterday was Tanabata, a time for celebration and writing down your wishes. By the Edo period it merged with other summer festivities such as Obon. Writing wishes on paper to hang from bamboo is still a tradition today. Swipe to see this #tanabata display in detail and how it came together 🎋🎆
Stop talking and listen. All you need is right there for you. Your intuition will speak to you, you will notice body language during conversations or even your tea will speak clearly to you. No phone, be silent. And you will be rewarded. 📵
Keep cool this summer with something different. Try Light, fresh and chilled ingredients over cold ramen noodles with dipping sauce. The dipping sauce is a mix of dashi broth with soy sauce. Dilute to taste. Best part about this? Not only do you have energy but it's also versatile AND pairs well with tea. Try Mugicha, sencha or even oolong. Iced or hot it's your choice 🍲
Listen to your heart, what does it truly want to create or manifest? Dig deep and break down how you can bring it to life down to the baby steps. Just by taking the baby steps, one-by-one you are telling the universe that this is what you want. Keep going and the universe will help you reach your goal over time. 🙏❤💕🎋
Happy 4th July! Hoping you are sipping happy (tea or not ) with friends and family. Swipe for more 💕🎆 #4thofjuly #independenceday

When we least expect we act out of character. In the moment it seems rational, but latter we wonder where did it come from?. Tuesday was such a day for myself. I had not heard from friends for a while so I went for a walk. Then saw them at the local bar. I was upset and began to feel anxious. They called me over. When asked how I was I let it out my frustrations. To me, I just wanted a heads up and to be asked when it came to my health. For her (a long time friend), she had full intention to message me after and considered my financial situation at the time, and stomach pains (Colitis). It took time and digging deep. But I realized in the end that we need more clear communication between us by asking for confirmation of understanding, we both need to open up to eachother and I need to take Iron supplements. Dig deep when these moments come up. There is a lesson that your soul wants you to know at the bottom of it.
Life moves so fast these days, we forget the little things. Two weeks ago @oreoofdoom needed a listing ear and we went for a drink (and Karaoke). We met an amazing creative who was photographing the singers. After looking at (almost) all his photographs we were done for the night. Before leaving, he caught up to us and gave us each a flower. When we dismiss the small things for technology, we loose out on human connection and the beauty of the world around us. Go out today and talk to someone without looking at your phone or go for a walk in nature (no phone). Take in everything. Listen. Look. Be present.
Everything that comes to us in our lives is an opportunity to grow and learn from a lesson. We may not know immediately what it is but it is there. Think deeply about why you don't get along with that one individual, or why it bothers you greatly that you are picked up last for hanging out. The deeper lesson is there, and once you learn from it deep in your heart and soul, only then will new lessons come forward. 🐉
After a lazy morning it feels good to start working (aka. serving you lovelies) with a meditative cup of Sheng puerh from @globalteahut How do YOU start your day? Tell me about it in the comments 😙
