Jiminy Biscuits: a love story.🛵
This smile is a tad bit misleading. At this point on our little hike up Skógafoss waterfall - the 200 foot drop to my right forced me into the fetal position. I was stuck this way for a comfortable amount of time. This ending up being one of my favorite places in Iceland, but I learned here that I’m not a ridge-trail kinda gal.
I know I drop off a lot.. Im not great at texting back or staying consistent on social media— • Trying to do better [especially since my friends and family are scattered across thousands of miles] — but I also need to allow myself to unplug without the guilt of feeling disconnected 🔌
ᑌᒪi might be my favorite Hawaiian word. The beauty of the Hawaiian language is that every word has a multitude of meanings. When I was explained the many meanings of ᑌᒪi- it’s depth, it’s health, it’s beauty, it’s darkness, it’s vibrancy - it was a feeling that I have wanted explained forever but never had a word for it. Now I have a word. This photo is ᑌᒪi🖤
I have too many great photos and memories from the past year not to keep sharing so, here, it’ll be 2018 until further notice.. 📸: @marlinamoreno #Sumatra #Indonesia #Leuser #SheisNotLost #Conservationist #WildandFree #WildPlanet #GlobalWanderer #ourplanetdaily #environmentalist
Leave it to @marlinamoreno to beautifully pack 3 days into 60 seconds🌿 If you don’t know, my girl Marlina is an amazing conservation storyteller (a photographer, filmmaker, producer, biologist, among the many hats she wears) and we were able to finally link up across the globe for several projects in 🌿S U M A T R A🌿 To highlight how sustainable tourism can be done in such ecologically important areas, we were able to join @greenhillbukitlawang on their 3Day Jungle Discovery trek. This is Marlina’s 💌VideoPostcard💌 on our first three days.. ⠀ #MarGoneWild #martakessumatra #ecotourism #sumatra #indonesia #indotravellers #jungle #leuser #wildlifeconservation #orangutans #SheisNotLost
