Caponata and sformato and guanciale meatballs and spaghetti with bottarga and and and... What a treat to have this Michelin-starred chef cook a rustic meal for us. Had a blast dining (and drinking!) with the @lyra_wine posse + amici. And always a pleasure to have Cecilia Chiang in the house. Annnnnnd after. 🦀 Steamed with bay leaves, white wine, saltwater. Cool. Clean. Then a quick toss in a pan with leeks, buttttterrrrrrrr, parsley, garlic, white wine, lemon, and piment d’Espelette (from my cooking class with @piperadesf today!). Sourdough. Duh. Fricking paradise.
