Was also so excited to see all the adaptogenic products (and with CBD) at @goodfoodfdn Mercantile. Finally got to taste @dramapothecary sparkling water (OMG the sweetgrass!!) and loved their gingergrass drops with CBD. Palo Santo bitters: 🤯✨. The entire line, branding, and couple behind it are 💖💖💖. Also excited for @drinkgoldmine adaptogen powder, curious to try as a daily regimen! ⚡️
When @zingermanscreamery breaks out the Manistique...and the Chelsea Cheese (an insanely good goat cheese in ash!). Ready for @malai_icecream chai ice cream in my freezer, and I really want the latest harvest of @diasporaco turmeric in my pantry! Badass health 🔥 tonics. Sunflower butter, pecan butter...and the first toffee I have ever really loved: with fennel seeds in it. Brilliant! Thanks to Saturday’s @goodfoodfdn Mercantile for all the flavor inspiration!
Tasting through the salumi and charcuterie at @goodfoodfdn Mercantile is always a dream. @ndujaartisans is now @tempestamarket and making the best Calabrese ‘nduja and salumi in the U.S. Awesome salsicc’! Plus Berkshire mortadella, madonn’. Duck prosciutto from @larchmont.charcuterie and truly spicy hot coppa from @elevationcharcuterie were 👌. Loved the variety and creativity (and craft) of @smokinggoosemeatery! And need some ground bacon on hand from @the.baconer, that looks like an awesome product. (Now I just need @sammogannam to bring everything to @biritesf ☺️.)
Flowers at the end of the night... So excited for upcoming Friday evenings at the @cerfclub. Fab folks, wines, canapés, tunes, and vibes at last night’s opening party. Always a good sign when there’s @bentonsbacon ham on waffles. And a ceviche cart. And Miller High Life ponies. Meet your future dream private event space! And Friday wine tasting hangout. There’s nothing like a good pasta alla carbonara, and they use housemade rigatoni at @barbarapinseria_sf, which gives the dish a totally different character. #sexytime
And another thing: the nori spaghettini. You don’t want to miss those noods with white miso and Dungeness crab and Buddha’s hand. Also: hang out at the bar at @ayalarestaurant at the end of the night for an amaro education from @jxnwxnflxn. (Luckily I was able to score that finocchietto for my Dad for Christmas at @bittersandbottles 🎉) And then you can truck up the hill for a final-final at @scmoderne at that’s a damn fine night right there.
