Hi runner / jogger / run-walking friends in Twin Cities metro (or anyone who wants to come)! I’m hosting a Yoga for Runners workshop this Saturday 3pm at Yess Yoga! Anyone who knows me knows that running is dear to my heart and I can honestly say that yoga asana (postures) has kept me running healthily (not fast, but consistent!) almost on the daily. I would love to share some of these postures and techniques with you! 🏃🏽♀️ . In this hour and a half we will have a brief lecture to talk running anatomy, and also about “hitting the wall” and discuss how to move through it. 🏃🏽♀️ . We’ll do a sequence focusing on low back stability and core strength, chest openers, stretching hamstrings and quads, and of course hips.
