TUESDAY 10:30am Slow Yoga Tone - Prenatal Friendly w/ Chelsea • A mid-morning refresh (or first thing of the day!) on a positive note with a blend of Hatha & vinyasa incorporating yoga asana (postures), vinyasa (flow), , breath awareness, and weight bearing exercise with 3-5 lb weights (optional!). Easing into joints, stimulating glands & ending with a brief meditation. Limited to 6 people for a personalized, slow, safely alligned, and challenging practice. This Tuesday session will be prenatal friendly as well! 💛 . 6pm Hatha / Slow Flow w/ Kathy • Slowly, mindfully move through classic Hatha postures for this early evening class. The philosophy for this offering is “the only perfect pose is the one that fits your own body. Yoga offers an opportunity to explore what the body can do rather than what it can’t. It creates the space to explore what we carry, who we are and how we relate to the universe.” 💛 . 7:45pm CANDLELIGHT RESTORATIVE AERIAL YOGA – No previous experience required - 1 SPOT LEFT! • Join us Tuesday evenings for a candlelight aerial yoga offering with no previous aerial experience required. Rejuvenate with gentle, restorative postures incorporating the aerial silk. Heart opening backbends, relaxing inversions, and a long savasana in a hammock. WEDNESDAY 6 am – KUNDALINI MORNING PRACTICE w/ Dorothy • Start your day with an invigorating morning practice that includes mindful movement, postures, breath work, chanting and meditation. You are invited to a delicious and soul-full donation yoga class & potluck with a screening of The Last Pig! 💛 . 6-6:45 All levels slow flow yoga and meditation class 💛 . 6:45-7:30 Vegan potluck! Bring a dish to share, plate, beverage vessel & utensils if you have them (Imbue has some as well). Hosted by Shawna Weaver who will offer a brief talk during our meal. 💛 . 7:30-8:30 Screening of the Last Pig 💛 . Compassionate beings unite (all are welcome – being vegan is NOT a requirement)! In this class we will explore a lighthearted, energetic flowing practice to stretch out, find balance and build community. We will begin our practice with a common intention: to reduce suffering in all beings and increase compassion. After our physical practice we will do a powerful, compassionate, heart-centered meditation technique to send healing and goodwill to ourselves, our neighbors, our world and possibly even to our enemies. After class we’ll share in plant-based refreshments (both provided by Imbue Yoga and potluck style if you want to bring something to share). Proceeds of each of these monthly potlucks & classes are to be donated to animal rights / protection / sanctuary or other compassionate organization - Iowa Farm Sanctuary tonight who just adopted some new piggies! 💛 . THE LAST PIG is a lyrical meditation on what it means to be a sentient creature with the power to kill. Deeply immersive, the film follows a pig farmer through his final year of slaughtering pigs. Through sparse, intimate musings, the farmer reveals the growing conflict of a life spent “peddling in death.”
