Teachers are ENGAGING their students! Our 3rd-5th grade students and teachers have been busy these last few days. Mrs. Watterson’s students boarded Cardinal Air to fly around the United States for a review session. Parents and students attended Math Night. The kids had fun playing math games, and the parents learned how to help with math HW. 5th graders created an interactive food web that spanned the entire room. #engagingstudents #handson #uateachersrock

The HS science classes have been busy engaging students with hands on labs. AP Bio students are doing an Enzyme Titration lab and chemistry students are conducting a flame test.
Several students spent their day Tuesday working at voting polls. Their duties ranged from passing out “I Voted” stickers to checking people in to vote on the computers. They started their day at 5:30am and most left after 8pm. While it was a long day, they all said it was exciting and a great learning experience. #civicresponsibility #studentleaders
