Reminder: Jan. 22 is a half day.
UA Students: It has been brought to our attention that due to the government shutdown the Community Shelter of UC and UC Crisis Assistance Ministry are in need of food to assist more families than usual. As a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we are asking you to show compassion for your community and contribute a bag of rice. A 1 lb bag of rice costs about $1 and serves 11 people. Using your own money, please purchase a bag of rice and turn it in to your HR teacher Jan. 22-25. As a thank you, HS students will receive 1 hour of community service or K-8 parents 1 volunteer hour (1hr max). Let’s fill the pantries of these two organizations. (Rice only please.) #CardinalsCare
