Regram @natashaabc7 Tell me: who was the teacher that changed your life? Ms. Richards changed mine :) She taught history in my middle school. She also taught me that curiosity is something to be celebrated. As a girl, I never felt bossy or self conscious raising my hand high in her class. Even with somewhat horrific uneven bangs and wire-framed glasses (who else went through an awkward stage, or decade?) I feel that she truly saw me- my potential if I was just given a little bit of encouragement. Shout out to all of the incredible teachers who have the huge task of shaping young minds. I got a chance to go back to @sandomenicoschool and thank Ms. Richards for everything that she's meant to me, and the path she's helped set me on. I hope I'm doing her proud! You are indeed making us proud @natashaabc7!

The coolest person in the room is the one who lifts up those around them. - @abc7newsbayarea @natashaabc7, on her time here at SD, and the positive, inclusive community that is San Domenico. An alumna of the MS Class of 2004, Natasha came by today to share with our students her story of how SD, and her favorite teacher ever, Wynn Richards changed the trajectory of her life. More soon but we hope you enjoy this sneak peek of things to come from Ms. Zouves!
Note the quiet during our earthquake drill today. Yes, there IS sound on this video. Listen carefully and you can hear the chickens in the background. May we never need it for the real thing but good to once again see our students cooperation and listening to instructions so well. Thank you students and EP Team! #emergencypreparedness
As featured on @pbs.teachers, seventh grade student presentations today were the culminating event in a history unit that integrated the study of Islam, the current refugee crisis, and multi-school level collaborations. Thank you to all who helped with this important unit and to the parents who came to hear the presentations today! #SDAllFaiths
