It’s been a busy week for EMHSA Director Nick Crossley! While at the National Association of Counties Legislative conference, he got a chance to sit down for a meeting with FEMA Administrator Gaynor and representatives from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Strengthening the relationships between FEMA and counties is the name of the game! 🤝

It’s been a busy week of training here in Hamilton County! So exciting to see the ways Hamilton Co is stepping up to be a more disaster-ready community! 🤜🏼🤛🏼 🚒 Over 90 firefighters will be trained in Hazardous Materials Technician course to help educate them about swift actions and decisions to take to protect the public when a hazmat spill has occurred. 🌪⛈ On Tuesday night, more than 75 eager members of the community showed up to learn from our friends at the National Weather Service about how to spot severe weather & take action to stay safe!
