Views across the river Wye 🍂 note to self, must visit the Forest of Dean more often 🧡
A rare ‘in person’ hello! ☺️🍂 I spent yesterday afternoon at the Cheltenham Literature Festival watching a rather magical interview with David Attenborough. Eloquent, witty and inspiring, it’s quite hard to put into words how special it was to hear his words of wisdom on conservation, technological advances in filming animals (often uses tech initially developed for the military..), and life on Earth as a whole. He really is a treasure 🧡
Taken on the morning of my nieces christening (I’m now a very proud God Mother 😉) A bright, strong and beautiful rose pushing through the bounding fence. So ready to teach little Harper Sweet how to be that bright and determined rose 🧡
‘A garden sweet enclosed, with walles strong. The arbores and ayles so pleasant and so dulce’ -Charles Wade. Happy Monday everyone, hope you have a wonderful day! 🍂
Researching a trip to Scandinavia again 🌲 I’ve started learning Norwegian on the Duolingo app and I’m intrigued to see if I could apply any of it whilst out there! This photo is from the Gothenburg botanical gardens in Sweden, but I think another trip to Norway is well overdue 🌲
Happy Autumn Equinox! 🍂 it’s officially the first day of Autumn today, and the weather is definitely living up to that fact...
Hydrangeas starting to fade 🌿 Good Morning everyone, hope you’re all taking care in these high winds 🌬
Happy Sunday 🍑
