I was caught up in the traffic caused by the horrific accident on the m5 yesterday for a number of hours. Knowing what has caused the traffic creates a very sombre atmosphere, but the patience and understanding of everyone (apart from an impatient few) was noticeable and warming. People were driving cautiously and being courteous when cars decided to turn and head back the other way. Even though no one could get to where they originally wanted to go, I think most people realised how reaching that destination now didn't mean anywhere near as much as just getting there safely. People will filter back into a normal routine and forget, but for a short amount of time everyone's minds were in a similar space, glancing at the bigger picture of life. Quite a deep thinking post but sometimes the good of people in the bad should be shared, wishing the families involved the ability to get through such a tragic time. #biggerpicture #stillswithstories #thegoodinthebad #patience #deepthinking #sharethegood #sharethegoodness #orchids
