HK’s transportation options range from 100-year old trams to ultra modern trains. But if you want to get somewhere fast, jump on a minibus. These 19-seater vans zoom around at insane speeds. There are no official stops - you just holler at the driver when you want to get off. Not pictured: the driver’s collection of beanie babies hanging from the ceiling of the van. 😂 #hklife #hongkong
HK’s double decker trams are known as #dingding and are one of the city’s cultural icons. My dad is the senior engineer of the company and over the last 20 years, has systematically revamped every aspect of the 100-year old tramways. Touring the tram depot with him was a real treat - even if I didn’t understand about 90% of what he was explaining 😅 #hongkong #hongkongtramways

When your dim sum is too cute to eat!
This is Chinese voodoo. The couple on the left has paid the “voodoo grandma” (right) to curse someone. She writes the victim’s name on a piece of paper, and curses them while hitting the slip of paper with her shoe (the ceremony can also be used generally ward off bad luck). These voodoo grandmas can usually be found in gloomy places - like under a bridge in causeway bay. One of the many colorful aspects of life in HK. #打小人 #villianhitting #chinesevoodoo
Back in the 852. Can’t believe how much I have missed this place.
Happy thanksgiving 🥰
So very proud of @simonlesser who ran the New York Marathon on Sunday!!! #nymarathon
Spectacular sunset on the Cape, followed by a drive in movie under the stars 😍 a perfect night.
Quick getaway to Cape Cod for a lovely long weekend. I’ve never had a bad experience on the cape but the Liberty Hill Inn was exceptional. Everything is so well thought out.
