Lin Pernille Photography turns 5 years old today!! 🎉 Thank you to all the incredible clients I've had the pleasure of working with for allowing me to do what I love every day! 🎊 Head to the blog to see a recap of some of my favorite highlights throughout these past 5 years: 👉 linpernille.com/blog 📷 (It's my biggest blog post yet!)
Starting off spring wedding season with a BANG this weekend with a ✨quadruple✨ header!! Three beautiful weddings & a brunch bridal shower - send lots of iced lattes! 😉☕
Blake surprised his girlfriend Amanda (now fiancée!) with a proposal at Turtle Pond in Central Park this weekend! 💍 Blake did all the right things: hired a secret photographer (👋), got a gorgeous ring, and even asked her dad for her hand in marriage! See all the photos at linpernille.com/blog
Hi followers & friends! 👋 I'm Lin, the one woman show behind #LinPernillePhotography and the instructor of #LinPernilleEducation. 📷 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (That's pronounced LIN pur-NIL, not pur-NEEL, but I don't get offended if you get it wrong.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I decided to name my business after my first & middle name because it symbolizes where I come from: My first name, Lin, is Cantonese (it means lotus!) because I was born in Hong Kong. My middle name, Pernille, is a common name in Denmark, which is where I grew up & where my whole family is from. (It's also the feminine diminutive form of Per, my dad's name.) ☺ Once I get married & take my husband's last name, my full name will perfectly represent my past, present, and future. 👌
On April 1st, 1998, my family packed up our belongings, said goodbye to our Danish friends & family, and moved to America for an engineering job my dad was offered. Little did we know we would fall in love with it here and end up making it our forever home. 🇺🇸 20 years later, we are all US citizens and living out our American Dreams. Thank you for a great two decades, Uncle Sam!
