This is Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World. Do you see the ghost horse? This ride is one of my favourites at Magic Kingdom, not only because it's awesome but because it's a great rest spot, especially when you've been walking around all morning. What is your favourite rest spot in Magic Kingdom?
This quote never fails to motivate me. If there's something you want to do just DO IT. What is stopping you?
Have you ever ridden the Railroad at Magic Kingdom? Have you spotted that there are 4 different trains? This is a great way to get a sit down while still getting to see the magic of the park. There's a slight breeze as the train travels along the tracks, even on the hottest days, and it means you can do less walking! With stops in the park too it's a great way to get around!
I love this quote so much. When I was growing up it was all about the fairy tales, it was all about the magic and how the animated movies were so perfect. It was a dream to have a life like that - and it could never happen in real life. But that's not exactly true is it? If we want something bad enough, and work hard enough, our dreams can come true. Fairy tales aren't there to show us things that couldn't possibly happen in real life, they're there to prove to us that anything is possible - if you can only work out a way to get what you want. Dream big. Work hard. AND ALL YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE!
Me, standing next to Minnie Mouse with the biggest smile on face. How stupidly happy do I look?? I LOVE Walt Disney World, becoming a child again and screeching with excitement because I get to meet Minnie Mouse and even have a photo with her!!! I may be wearing no make up and my hair is a total mess but I simply don't care. I am standing next to MINNIE MOUSE!!! 😝
More and more recently I have been turning to my children for ideas. The things we discuss, the topics they're interested in, help me work out what I should be writing about. Their input is invaluable and they have helped me on more topics than I care to mention. The boys are creative, intelligent, and inspiring. How are you inspired by your children?
Before visiting Walt Disney World we buy a big bag of pins so we can have plenty to trade while there. Over the years our collection has grown and we've even completed some of the sets. We're not done yet though - it's surprisingly addictive! I can't wait to return so we can do more pin trading. Do you do pin trading?
The best things in life take time. Why hurry? I've spent a long time trying to figure out why I blog. Who and why I want to help. And then, by accident, I realised what I love most of all is Walt Disney World. Holidaying there, taking my children and being able to share such a magical thing with them is the best feeling in the world. And I want to help other families experience that magic too. So as you can see from my feed recently it's all about Walt Disney World. Quotes from Walt Disney and the movies, photos from our many trips to the parks and surrounding areas in Walt Disney World. Over on the blog you'll read posts with tips for your holiday/vacation and I'm even creating freebies for my mailing list subscribers. I'm excited. I think I've finally found my niche. Yes, it's taken time - but the best things are worth the wait right?
This was taken back in 2015, the Frozen Parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios was new and it was brilliant. I loved the dancing and everything. LP loved being able to see Olaf and the rest of the characters. It seemed a bit weird having people dressed in winter clothes while the sun shone down and we were sweating because it was so hot, but it was awesome anyway! Which parade is your favourite?
