Hey TM crew, when we doing this again? 😄 This is what happens when your cousins are your barkada too. 💙 #LatePost for life loool
I am home. 💙 When I first saw photos and read the beautiful story behind Taichung's Rainbow Village, I decided I needed to see Taiwan. The village was a settlement area for veterans. Slowly, the houses got run down and residents were selling their property to developers. Mr. Huang Yung Fo was the only person left and began painting the village. His gorgeous and playful works single handedly saved the village from demolition and is now preserved as a cultural area. When you doubt what one person can do to change things, remember that story. This place was a non negotiable for me. I stepped in the village and my heart started jumping. A warmth of giddiness came then inspiration and joy followed. It was a 3.5 hour trip one way and it was SO WORTH IT. Thank you Taiwan for having an amazing transport system and Google Maps + Translate that made the journey hassle-free. There is something about the place's energy that captured me and made everything 10 times better. Mr. Huang Yung Fo, thank you for sharing your gift. You are an inspiration.
Yung sumisikip na ang pantalon ko Taiwan series. Translation: My pants are getting tight in Taiwan. 😂 One of the items I knew I wanted to try in Taipei - Torched Beef with Rose Salt. Yaaaaaaas. Thanks for the calories Raohe Night Market, you were worth it. PS Yes we had 10 million other things.
Seeking one beautiful Philippine island at a time. How amazingly clear is that water?!? Insaaaaaane. 😍💙 . . Cebu, Philippines (August 2015)

Southern Skies. You know how sometimes you see something every single day you take it for granted? Like I am almost never in the south so on a lovely clear day I get this view and sit and stare to appreciate. Sometimes life surprises you with the most mundane or littlest way to show you how things (people, situations or places) can sparkle and make you smile. PS 2 massive giveaways in the photo where I am. Haha
South girl for the weekend because La Chinesca is L💙VE.
Tour guide hat on with a few balikbayans over the weekend in my beloved city.
Weekending with the parentals, let's brunch! Flat White, BXU (Butuan Lechon) Sandwich, Eggs Benedict, and Amatriciano Pasta at this Kapitolyo nook. Not in photo cheese cupcake and ensaymada chocolate sandwich. 😄
Early mornings at Cloud 9 💙 #latepost
Masarap ba sa Kermit? Yes! To illustrate how in demand the place is, we went there Saturday for dinner and waiting time was 1.5 hours. The next slot for a dinner reservation was a Tuesday, the day we were set to fly out. We compromised with a lunch reservation instead. . . Is their pizza the best on the island? Quite possibly. Is it the best in the country? Subjective. . . Do try their equally exquisite Focaccia, pasta, and MUSHROOM RISOTTO (diba guuysss??? Lol) 😄
A snap from yesterday's 6 hour trip in shades of my favorite hue. Up this early for the last leg for the journey home, only one plane ride left!
I said I wanted to come back to Siargao but I didn't expect to be back this soon. Lol . . Was supposed to leave yesterday but all the flights were cancelled because of the weather. So scramble mode to get things done. One good thing is our group took on the hiccup with good vibes. Ssssoooo embarking on a 6 hour trip to fly out of Butuan instead. But first, breakfast at Pleasure Point! Make space for their coffee and pancakes. We loved their honey.
Even with gloomy weather and rain Siargao's waters stun. Look at those shades of blue! 💙 It might seem like a cliche and a broken record but this place is freaking amazing. May it stay this fantastic, you definitely have my heart.
You had me at Liempo. Madali lang po akong pasiyahin. Saraaaaaaap 😍 PS May Sinigang na Isda, Inihaw na Isda, Shrimps at Talong pa! Not in photo, Sea Urchin 👍🏻
