One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is after the wedding when I’m going through the images and reliving the day. I always smile without even realizing it. I sure love my job ❤️
So lucky to be a part of one of the most fun and most gorgeous wedding celebrations yesterday!! Amneh and Zak had a perfect day filled with dancing, laughter, love and family. If you missed my Instastory from their reception last night, check it out before it disappears...so much fun! I can't wait to share more of their day on the blog soon!
Who else saw that @downtonabbey_official is coming to the big screen?! I seriously don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a movie in my life. I’m just gonna go ahead and start preparing now by practicing my British accent and channeling the Dowager Countess with daily witty comebacks. #icantwait
When I say I’m “genuinely happy” for you on your wedding day, it’s not a line I spout to make myself sound good. I’m 100% genuinely happy that you get to marry the love of your life on the best day ever. — I genuinely care if you get a snag in your dress, or there are storm clouds on the horizon, or your veil doesn’t fit just right, or getting the timeline planned to perfection...I love watching first looks, exchanging of rings, the pride in your momma as she looks on, grandma breaking it down on the dance floor - I love the pure joy in everything that makes up your most perfect day. — I love that after nearly a decade in this business, I remember little tidbits of every single couple and every single wedding I’ve ever photographed because no two of you are alike. You have your own love stories, your own traditions, your own style, and I love watching your lives continue, and for some of you, your families grow long after the best day ever is over. — When I say I’m genuinely happy for you, it’s because I am. I want you to have a day that you’ll never forget, and it’s my job, year after year, to serve my couples happily and be part of the reason that happens. ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #fridayintroductions
International travel etched its way into my heart long ago and never left. It’s a love I can’t explain - there is an itch to be on a plane more often than not, to explore something new, to meet new people, and be a part of another culture and soak it all in. It’s been a longtime dream to share that experience with my children, and since Ava is the oldest, she gets to go first! It was important to me that she picked a place all on her own, and not be biased by the places I’ve been or the places I love. She’s chosen Ireland (I’ve never been either!), so we’re deep into the planning and dreaming!! If you’ve been to Ireland, drop your favorite cities/things to see!
