A snow storm in a biting -10C added to the charm of photographing picturesque shops in the cobblestoned St-Paul Street of Old Montreal. This historic neighbourhood was founded by French settlers in 1642 as Fort Ville-Marie. Far better to absorb its charms in the middle of winter with no tourists!
Australia's environment minister has said up to 30% of koalas on the New South Wales mid-north coast may have been killed in the country's ongoing bushfire crisis. Kate - the famous wombat lady on Flinders Island kindly let our photography group cuddle her mob of baby wombats. Very cute! Kate jokingly stated that her house could sink at anytime as there are hundreds of burrows under her house.
