When water re boils shrimp are done.
The twins as most know are like family to us. I've been making a giant cookie 🍪 for them on first and last day of school since kindergarten and getting their picture to capture the milestone. I grabbed this off of a video and was immediately happy and sad at the same time. It made me think of my brother who passed away at 37 of AIDS. That's a story in itself. We looked so alike and I see him in this picture. I dedicated Spinach Tiger to him. He called himself James. I called him Jimmy. I held his hand in his last moments while I love Lucy reruns were on TV. I will never ever get over his death but I celebrate everyday, even aging because he never got to do that. Love is a splendid thing even when it hurts. This is so not my normal IG post but I felt moved to share. Hashtag no hashtag.
Have you ever considered #redquinoa for breakfast. ❤️ Make a big batch. Refrigerate, eat cold with berries 🍓 and milk. Red Quinoa has a chewy texture and a nutty taste. Links to a few red quinoa recipes in profile. Recipe 1 cup quinoa 2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon salt Important: Rinse dry quinoa under cold water in mesh strainer for two minutes. Must rinse off saponin which is bitter. Don't skip. Put quinoa and cold water in sauce pan. Bring to boil. Lower heat to simmer for 15 minutes.

Throw back Thursday. Tuscany. The menu said giant pizza. You don't choose toppings. They bring what they bring. It was the best pizza of our life. It was where we went after a chianti wine festival where we sampled 22 wineries for $8 Euros. We needed food and ate every bite.
