It’s time for a photo shoot and this time I’m the client! Thank you Kate for helping me capture all of the details of our amazing tiny home remodel, I can’t wait to share the photos and behind the scenes info with all of you on the blog very soon!
My worlds collide each week with organizing projects ranging between modern mansions and vintage estates so it was a treat to have shoppers from our email list get a taste of both with two exciting liquidations on the calendar this week! I’m sure it will be difficult to decide if this midcentury hillside home was more or less spectacular than today’s 8,000 square foot Spanish style estate project. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
We’ve been so busy and short staffed lately so to relieve some stress and pressure I decided to take a break from double booking myself with consultations, liquidations, and organizing sessions and just enjoy the project at hand. For the last two days I’ve relieved Billy from his usual “dump” duties and I’ve really enjoyed it! “Big Red” drives in idle at 40 mph, lacks brakes, and steers like a boat on a gusting ocean so being behind the wheel is a great reminder that I used to have to do all of the dirty work on my own so having the expertise of 12 sets of hands is priceless! It’s also a reminder that I need to carve out time to buy a dump truck...with breaks! 🤣
I always joke that being on the Kuzak’s Closet estate liquidation email list is better than having a gym membership! It forces you to get up early, make new friends, run around and get your heart rate up, do some heavy lifting, and potentially enjoy a donut after it’s all done. As always, it was great to see so many of you lined up this morning in Los Altos Hills, see you Thursday in Los Altos!
Pro-Organizer Tip! If you want to reuse moving boxes use @postit notes to label the boxes. Color coordinate by room and just place a new note on top of the old note for your next use!
The finale of this busy week was managing and organizing a major move for a local family. The major challenge was to downsize from 8,000 square feet to 2,600 square feet and we did it! Seeing two trucks and ready to roll to the new home was such a relief for me and an exciting fresh start for our client. TGIF!
When can we celebrate? I am loving this birthday and celebration station at our Seattle project! So many of us have bows, gift tags, banners, and cards tucked into bins in storage but they never get used! For this project we had the space so we decided to put them front and center!
