✨3 Keys to a Fabulous Wedding Day✨ 1. Your attitude - You set the tone of the day! Your guests can tell if you’re anything but joyful so make sure you have a rockstar vendor team and pass along all of your details to someone you trust with clear instructions and notes! Weddings are a team effort so whether your team includes family, friends, vendors, or all of the above, give them everything you need to relieve your planning stress and make your wedding an unforgettable experience! Speaking of... 2. A great guest experience - Getting your guests to do what you want can be like herding cats so keep them in the know by announcing any instructions, printing clear directions, or creating signs. Keep your timeline and activities flowing so guests never wonder what’s happening next and minimize potential discomfort with things like fans for hot outdoor ceremonies, flats for tired dancing feet, and always keep them fed and hydrated. Focus on what would keep you happy as a wedding guest (because you can easily go overboard with your budget!) and do that. 3. Prioritize your day well - It’s all about those little details you may not have thought of that we’ve accumulated over the years. Here are a few: Provide breakfast and lunch for you and your bridal party, opt for a first look so you can see eachother early in the day, don’t drink a lot until all major activities are over, pack for your honeymoon before your wedding, and make sure you have a plan for cleanup at the end of the night! Wedding days have a whole bunch of stuff to think about in between the festivities that are just as important for a successful day. ✨ These are all just the tip of the iceberg of all the things we’ve done and helped couples do to make planning go smoothly! ❤️ if you want to see more content like this! 📷 by @kellysweetphoto from my #rhiannonbosse1on1
The longer you take a break, the harder it is to restart. 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ I’ve been off the feed for a few months already (still posting on stories though) and I haven’t really missed it at all! What’s the secret to posting after a long break? Knowing that people just want to know what you’ve been up to and that they don’t really care if you’ve become the best caption writer ever since you’ve been gone. I’ve been thinking a lot about being more intentional especially with social media and doing things because you want to and not out of obligation or guilt. I’ve actually tried to post many times but it turned from feeling like I wanted to to feeling like I “should” and so I’ve stopped and waited for the time when posting felt exciting which is now! Social is great when you own and embrace your decision to take a break and own and embrace your decision to post on your own schedule! So what have I been up to? Lots of emails, lots of rest, lots of work/life balance, and lots of introspection. So lots to share coming soon! ☺️ In other news, we have our final wedding of the season this weekend and it’s gonna be magical! Transformation was what I was hoping for this week at @creativeatheart and I am blown away by how legitimately life-changing it was. I feel truly refreshed for the first time in years. For a long time, I was content but not thriving and it’s been so hard to figure out how to move forward when you can’t quite put your finger on what’s wrong and you don’t know how to fix it.
was cathartic, relatable, real, and raw. It supports the whole person - whatever you needed, you got. You go into it expecting an educational experience with some typical fluff and encouragement to get you hyped while you’re there but it’s so much more than that. You cry, you laugh, you cry, you learn. It’s so educational but for me the true value comes from how supportive it is mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It’s a reset. It’s a kick into high gear. All of the questions I had in business were answered and questions in life that I didn’t even know what or how to ask were answered. I will spend weeks and hopefully months and years implementing and reflecting on this experience. Thank you @katschmoyer 💕 #creativeatheartround9 was the. best. yet.
I’ve gone to Starbucks maybe 3 times this year which is crazy compared to last year! It was hard at the beginning but I’ve been working on getting more sleep and drinking more water instead. This may be the week I have to cave thought because it’s #creativeatheartround9 and I am not going to miss a second! S’mores frap, here I come! 📷: @mullersphoto
