Throwing it back to those hot desert days! Loved going to this wedding as a guest, and it made me appreciate being a planner even more. Meanwhile, we have a snow day today in Omaha which means we’ll be all tucked in warm blankets avoiding blizzard-like conditions 😬 and snowy streets!
If you’ve already learned way more than you ever wanted to about weddings like how you now recognize a @misshayleypaige wedding dress from a mile away or you can identify ranunculus from peonies from hydrangeas or you feel like you’ve gone through every single venue on The Knot and are just over it - we completely understand!! 2019 brides, we are excited to meet you and lift this weight off your shoulders! T-1 day until snowmageddon or a light dusting of snow. I’m predicting between 1-50 inches. Any other guesses? (📷 reposted from @jennakutcher ) #snowmageddon #orno #winterstorm #justkidding #nobodyknows
Going into this week like 🎉 With a million never ending to-dos (you gotta hustle if you want to actually get stuff done, right?) I’ve found that the secret to checking off my to-do list is just to make the smallest, easiest to-dos ever! Break down your goals into 5 minutes or less action steps and watch your productivity soar! I actually spend more than 5 minutes on a task, it’s tricking my brain into actually starting that’s the hard part! (📷 by @mullersphoto ) #productivity #mondaymotivation
Happy 2018! I’ve been trying to come up with a word of the year for a while now and I think I’ve finally settled on one: discipline. One of my big BBE goals for the year is to blog regularly again because I loved having an updated online presence! I probably won’t go back to the 3 times a week schedule that we had way back in the day. Instead, I’m shooting for once a week which should be totally doable! I also have some personal finance goals and health and wellness goals and it is interesting because these are all things that have to be done little by little over time, every day unless I could make money fall from the sky or randomly work out for 5 hours a day on the weekend. Seeing as how that is unlikely, I’ll be going the slow and steady route. Small steps every day lead to big progress! Did you choose a word of the year? What is it?
