The London sky line is certainly a sight to behold 🏙
I'm going to ask what may seem like an odd question but, is your suncream killing coral reefs? Does your suncream contain a chemical called oxybenzone? If so, then the answer is yes. Two thirds of suncreams contain the chemical which disrupts corals reproduction and is also causing feminisation of fish in some regions. Just 1 drop of suncream with the dangerous chemicals can affect a coral area the size of 6 Olympic sized swimming pools, SIX! Mind blowing right?! So this summer, when you're sunning yourself by the pool or the sea, try to buy a reefsafe suncream option which looks after the planet and protects your skin. If you want a little more information, I've written a blog post about it, link in bio 🌊
He's finally done it and that means I no longer need to proof read any essays 🎉! #leedsgrad2018
With Trumps arrival there's no better time to talk about how the future is and will be female. Women make up 50% of population and this should be reflected everywhere not just population statistics. In the future we will see more women in power, more female board members and more women in education. We will see more women rise up, more women celebrate and more women help create solutions to problems in our world. More women will enter tech, science and politics. We will see more female bread winners, more women who choose not to have children due to pressure and more women standing up against stereotypes to break down that glass ceiling that still tries to hold up. If the past few years have taught me anything, it's that the female voice is growing louder every year and I can't wait to hear it grow some more.
A few of my favourite things about summer: 1. Exploring new places and actually taking the time to wander the streets in the sunshine. 2. Rediscovering summer wardrobe pieces that brighten every day and make you feel like a rainbow 🌈 3. Being able to enjoy warm summer evenings with friends even when it's past 9pm. What are some of your favourite summer things?
Today I completely melted on the tube, the experience was horrendous and so instead of that image I'll leave a picture of the old vicarage in Rye which is rediculously cute, from the door knocker to the flowers outside it really is front door goals!
A weekend away in Rye a Napa with these beauties definitely didn't disappoint! Now pass me the aftersun please.
Happy sunny Saturday! This weekend I'm in Rye with friends but first I just want to announce I wrote a blog post all about festivals. Links in bio if you fancy a morning read 🎉
It's normal to miss your pets more than your family right? #malfoy
