With summer already here we are quickly running out of healthy snack ideas, especially for on the go. We've been trying out the pulsin range which are healthy snack bars for both children and adult which have been cold pressed to retain all the goodness of their ingredients. The whole range of Pulsin products are gluten free, dairy free and soya free while being suitable for Vegetarians. @pulsinandbeond have got a few ranges which include their Pulsin Kids range, this range has three great flavours made with children in mind. This range includes the Strawberry, Apple & Blackcurrant and the Orange Choc Chip flavours. Each of the Pulsin Kids snack bars contain under 100 calories per bar meaning they are a great snack following the Change4Life guidelines too. This range is certified organic too which is just what many of us look for in our children's snacks. The goodness doesn't stop there either since each snack bar contains one of the five recommended potions of fruits and vegetables they should be having each day. These 25g snack bars are the perfect size for little tummys and give your children just what they need for a healthy and natural energy boost when they need it. Lets not forget the other Pulsin ranges too which include the Raw Choc Brownie and Fruit & Nut bars. With great flavours that really pack a punch you won't be disappointed with the selection of Fruit & Nut Bars from Pulsin. We obviously couldn't resist the chance to play at another park! This was the first time Scarlet played in the sand. She's not so keen but she did play for a while trying to decide. Hopefully the beach will change her mind! Dylan loved all the equipment at the zoo Park. There was slides that are just bars. Funky walking equipment that requires really good balance and a whole host of other equipment that requires a lot of exploring, confidence and concentration. all parks should have some more advanced equipment in them.
Just a small selection of the photos I took today. It would seem they mostly contain the back of Dylan's head 🤔 I'm taking that as a sign he totally loved it!
If anyone is looking for me I will be hiding out in the corner slowly working through the 400+ photos I took today 🤣 The zoo was amazing. My first experience of a zoo in as long as I can remember. (my mum promises me that I went as a child! I do not remember this however she has photographic evidence) If you didn't know Belfast zoo is placed on the side of a mountain 🗻 which was once a volcano 🌋 and pushing a pram up it is no mean feat. Thankfully I was not alone and we had gone with our mums and tots group. Could you even imagine me and two children walking up a mountain with a pram stocked full of lunch, snacks, changes of clothing, maps, drinks, first aid kit and more? 😰 It did mean that for a good part of the uphill journey I had Scarlet in the carrier while a friend pushed the pram. (Thank you!!). It was 22 degrees at one point but it felt so much warmer.
A whole day at the zoo! Can you believe we've never been 😱 We are heading back later in the summer with Simon. Hopefully it'll be a little cooler too!
You know it's a good morning when everyone is up, dressed, prepared for an entire day out including lunches and your at the park before 10 am! Okay so it was 1 minute before 10am 😂
Taking photos of all four of is is never a given. I'm usually behind the camera which is why I love joining in with the #meandmine project.
