SERVE SHOUT OUT! “I love to provide a loving atmosphere to all the children! To let them know that each one of them are loved.” This is Brandy Howard! She’s been attending FBCnl for 2 years now and serves with our 4th thru 6th grade girls in Velocity on Wednesday nights and also in the babies/check in on Sunday mornings. If you’d like to serve at FBCnl, see someone in Connections!
You are invited to join us this Easter, Sunday, April 21, at one of our two services: 8:15am & 10:45am. (Quality children's programming will be provided during both services. ASL will be available at 10:45am.)
Don’t forget our new ladies study in Philippians begins tonight at 6!!
SERVE SHOUT OUT! “I love to pass out the bulletins because I get to meet new people and I love that.” This is Ron!! He has been going to FBCnl since 1986 and is our faithful greeter. He hands out the bulletins each Sunday, with a smile! If you’re interested in serving at FBCnl, see someone in Connections!
Don’t forget to join us immediately following 2nd service for a lunch, and the kick off of our newest ministry Foster the Village!! We all have been called to some aspect of the foster life. Maybe not by physically taking in a child, but by helping to provide resources or support for those that have. It takes a village! See you tomorrow after the 10:45 service!
FBCnl: While each one of us may not be called to bring children into our homes through adoption and foster care, we are all capable of doing something. After all, it takes a village. Join us for lunch this Sunday March 24th —immediately following the 10:45am service— where you'll learn how you can get involved in our new ministry, ‘Foster the Village.’
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name Acts 22:16 This quote has stuck with me for some time now. I was always raised to beleive that someone shouldn't be baptized until they feel in their heart they are right with the lord. I have been saved for some time now and over the last year I have felt my faith grow more and more each day as I pray it continues to do. I knew deep down that I needed to take this step of obedience a long time ago. It is through baptism our relationship with God is renewed. I am so grateful and so thankful that our God is so good to me, all of the time. I know in my heart that this was the time for me to obey him and be baptised in his name.” This is Heather Gruber. She recently accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of her life and yesterday she was baptized! If you’re interested in baptism, email
