Trying something a bit (but not too) different this week.
A filled out week. Busy days lead to less time to plan things or accomplish things. But I still find it super helpful to have it all in one place. Not using my journal the last few weeks has thrown me off my game, but now I feel like I'm back and ready to get as much done as my work schedule will allow! That bring said, I have some blog posts/youtube videos (including my practice journal flip through) almost ready to go. Make sure you're following along/subscribed so you don't miss them!
I get asked a lot about the supplies I use for my weekly spreads. Usually it's just a Marvy Le Pen Drawing Pen in 0.05 and a Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen in what ever color I fancy that week. A ruler helps keep everything neat and tidy. I do have all my favorite supplies linked on the blog if you want to know more (just click the link in my bio) and I'm working on an updated supplies list that will go up soon! If you want to know about anything specific, let me know and I'll make sure to put it in my updates
I've mentioned a few times that I have a practice journal where I test out all kinds of things before they make it into my actual bullet journal. From spread ideas to washi tapes to color combos and pen tests, everything makes it in there. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing a flip-through of it? It isn't pretty, but I love the use it has!
New week, new spread all ready to fill in! So far the first two days of April have felt more productive than the entire month of March. Anyone else feeling that too?
A little look at my April monthly. Been working all day on bullet journal updates, setting up April, filming some youtube videos, taking lots of photos, and writing new blog content. The last month has been one of really low productivity for me. I didn't meet any of the goals I set out to achieve and barely touching my bujo definitely helped me in falling off track. I'm making an effort to make the best out of april, with longer days and warmer weather it should be much easier not to snuggle up on the sofa each evening!
A new week and I'm trying really hard to get back into good habits. Anyone else completely engrossed in breath of the wild right now, or is that just me? I haven't been journaling much the past couple weeks and now I'm finally taking time to play with all the stickers and washi samples I ordered from @sticker.doodle.shop (so many good things!)
I have a new post up on the blog that walks you through the bullet journal I use at work. 100% function over form, and a complete departure from my carefully crafted personal journal, but my job demands information and no time wasted. If you are interested in learning more about it please head to classicsidewalk.com or click the link in my bio! Do you use a bullet journal at work? Is it also totally different than the one you use for the rest of your life?
Still haven't figured out how to decorate this month. Maybe clean and simple is just the way to go?
