[ 5 / 22 ] LA.IDEA DC PRESENTS: Revisiting Torre David with Alfredo Brillembourg Documentary Screening & Talk Please join LA.IDEA DC at the Dupont Underground for a special screening of Torre David, winner of the Golden Lion at the 2012 Venice Biennale, followed by a conversation with Alfredo Brillembourg of Urban-ThinkTank (U-TT). Post screening discussion moderated by Adriana Navarro-Sertich, Founder + Principal of urbanSEED.
The Underground is a thrilling venue no matter what goes into it, its concrete vaults inspiring thoughts of a bohemian-chic batcave. It's strange enough that there's this massive underground area beneath Dupont Circle, but it's even more startling that, after decades of neglect, it's finally returned to a new life with murals, haunting acoustics, and arts events. -Dominic Griffin, DCist
