I got a fraction of the work done today that I wanted to, but I DID get to hang out with some of the greatest people at prison today AND all of my September weddings have been delivered as of this afternoon. So I’m calling that a win. 🙌🏻😍 As I’m navigating the busiest season my business has ever had, I’m incredibly grateful for all the people that I get to do life with. Every single one of my couples this fall (these cuties included 😉) have been so incredibly kind & gracious and for that I am just so thankful!
Getting past clients in front of my camera might be one of my favorite things EVER. ❤️ Two years since their wedding and almost ten years together - I just adore these two & their sweet love. ✨
I freaking adore my 2019 couples and being able to get so many of them in front of my camera this month 😍 these cuties hit the blog today and it’s gooood stuff, my friends!
Honestly unsure why I don’t live in the mountains 🏔✨ probably because it costs 5x more to exist there...but still 😍
Sometimes you just need a good black & white 🔥😍
I was driving home from Colorado yesterday and doing a lot of thinking and reflecting on life & seasons and everything in between. I love new seasons and intentional beginnings. As I thought over the past year of my life the word that flooded my heart was peace. I believe experiencing peace in the depths of your soul is possible regardless of circumstances. Peace for me can’t stem from the security of how many weddings I will or won’t book, by a college degree, a retirement fund, good circumstances, relationships, or success. Peace has to stem from knowing who my God is and who he says I am. I’m endlessly grateful for that because our world is often anything but peaceful. Looking around you don’t have to go too far to find brokenness, hurt, division, and chaos. And while I refuse to turn a blind eye to the brokenness, I will bank on the fact that my God is a God who loves and pursues peace, restoration, and hope. So here’s to a new year, fresh hope, and sweet, beautiful peace from my King.
