Farrer Park Hospital played host to a group of 18 doctors from #Bangladesh for a Continuing Medical Education (CME) talk; one of the many activities that FPH participates in with our regional partners, as we believe that knowledge sharing and continuous education are key to enhancing medical capabilities and providing better care to all patients. Dr Matthew Tan shared on managing #diabetes while Dr Julian Tan shared about the advances in the treatment of #Coronary #Artery #Disease to our overseas guests. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in this learning session with our Bangladesh counterparts as we learn about their experiences and more importantly, their best practices in their areas of specialty. #FarrerParkHospital

Its Dumplings season! Dumplings are really tasty but how many calories do they contain? Our Principal Dietitian, Ms Mah Wai Yee, advises • - Limit yourself to no more than 3 dumplings a week because it is high in sodium and saturated fat from fatty meat. • - If taken as a main meal, balance it with adequate serving of #vegetables. • - Dumpling ingredients can be tweaked with leaner cuts of meat, & switching to multigrain rice with lower saturated fat, sodium and seasoning. Look for these versions when you purchase dumplings. #FarrerParkHospital #FPHWorldofFlavours #DragonBoatFestival #dumplings #bakzhang #eathealthy
