Yesterday I turned 23. No, I don't have any profound or beautiful birthday revelations to share. Just that 22 was good and I'm praying that, by God's tremendous grace, 23 will be even better. I'm so thankful for the way I grew last year and how God pushed me outside of my comfort zone. In other news, Austin took the day off work yesterday for my birthday and we spend most of the day at the Museum of Appalachia and rummaging through a giant store full of used books and old DVDs. He bought me cactus candles to put in the grain-free sugar-free Paleo brownie I made and it was a perfectly wonderful day. 😊
Give me trees so tall that I can no longer see the sky... 🌲
Hi, California. I missed you. 💛
It's that time of year again... Dressember is coming up in three days and I will be participating for my third year in a row! 👗 During the month of December, I will be wearing a dress every day to raise money and awareness for the victims of human trafficking and for the abolition of modern-day slavery. This challenge uses fashion to advocate for women who’ve been exploited for their femininity. When we take on the challenge of wearing a dress for the 31 days of December, we are advocating for the inherent dignity of all women and together we are locking arms to face one of the greatest injustices of our time. I'll be posting most of my outfits and updates on my other account 👉🏻@shininglightapparel so be sure to follow me there if you want daily photos. 😉 Feel free to message me if you have any questions or if you are interested in participating and joining my team! (Team Name is There Will Be Light) 🕯
