I LOVE learning new ways to be creative and this is just the beginning of what I want to do in the near future. Swipe left to see what I'm working on with this tree I painted. Planning to offer some version of it as pillows and other printed items in the shop. Never ever stop learning.
New blog post sharing the Benjamin Moore 2018 color of the year plus a sneak peek at their color forecast. Let me know what you think of it! Click the link on my profile page to see it.
Taking advantage of a nasty, rainy day to learn something new. I've discovered that I really like painting and that I need a lot more practice. What are you doing today?
Had such a wonderful time this morning cruising down the Virginia creeper trail with the hubs and our youngest. This is so much fun, even if you're overweight and out of shape like me. Hardly any pedalling, mostly coasting. And an abundance of beautiful scenery. Swipe left for a video and see my stories for more pics. I highly recommend this trip! Have you ever done it? #postcardsfromtheridgetravels
I'm late to the game, but for the first time I'm participating in the semi annual One Room Challenge! Over the next 6 weeks I'll be sharing updates to our guest bedroom and hopefully it will look like a brand new space when I'm finished. Here's the plan so far, and swipe left to see the before shot. What do you think? All the details are on the blog and you can see them by clicking the link on my profile page. #oneroomchallenge @oneroomchallenge @housebeautiful
Are you a collector? One of the things I hoard is swing top bottles. Vintage ones are my favorite, but I like new ones too. They're perfect for bud vases. Just one way to reuse something that might get trashed otherwise. Sharing for my friend, Larissa at @prodigalpieces who tagged me with her #trashure. She always has the best rescues. Care to play along, @vinyetetc @diybeautify & @boxwoodandlavender?
Enjoying the gorgeous fall weather and playing with table settings today. What are you up to?
I just turned my calendar from September to October and this is the artwork for the month. I thought it was very appropriate for today. I'm heartbroken and in disbelief about the tragedy in Las Vegas, and the state of our country in general. Prayers that people filled with hate can somehow find love and peace in their hearts. 💔
Hello, October! So glad to see you again!
