Sunday vibes #buylocalproduce (BTW, I am disappointed by Beatriz at Dinner – I understand all the questions the movie is asking, they are my questions too; however, I think, sadly, it doesn’t have new or more interesting things to say about them. I expected much, much more)#justfortherecord
With all these strawberries and pink stalks of rhubarb from the farmer's market, I made a pie, not a perfectly looking pie, but one that is greatly balanced with the sweet flavor of the strawberries and the rhubarb’s sour bite
a spirited evening of wine, food, music, conversations, laughter, rain... and all those simple pleasures + a little bit of a spinning sensation in the head 😇😉@oysterboytoronto
Enchained Action created by Aristide Maillol, bathed in gentle light at The Art Institute’s Grand Staircase. Modelled in France in 1905 by a 44-year-old Maillol who by 1900 had abandoned Impressionist painting for sculpture (first in wood, then in bronze) Enchained Action is one of the artist’s most impressive early sculptures. From the start of his sculptural work around 1898 until his death in 1944, the female body, chaste but sensual, is Maillol’s central theme.
Art Institute Of Chicago! It is time travel... so much to see and never enough time (European masters will always have my heart; Van Gogh's Self Portrait, 1887)
breakfast in style; this place is really special - the Grand Courtyard with the restored historic fountain and Heritage olive trees is spectacular
