Here's a nice tip in using essential oils to repel insects. Cut out small squares or strips of thick felt, punch a hole and put a string. Hang at least 4 of these in areas where you don't want insects around, put 3-4 drops of essential oil or blend and watch the flies and mosquitoes clear the area. The more ventilated the area, the more strips and oils you'll have to use. Reapply every 2-3 hours or when insects are starting to return. Do you know which essential oils are effective in driving away insects?
And we’re doing another flash sale! 121 pesos for some of our products. Find out which on the On Sale Items at our website. Check link at bio.

We're prepping for a 16 hour distillation of the roots of this plant called Moras by old folks and upland farmers in Bicol. Legend has it that during 12 noon of Good Friday, they become very fragrant and aromatic. Whether that's true or not, we're delighted of the chance to work on a local Vetiver.
This is what comes out when Pili fruits are pressed. Oil is skimmed from the top then heated to completely separate oil from water. What you get afterwards is pure oil from the pulp of Pili.
100% local. 100% pure Filipino.

To those curious about the Sweet Basil of @goodfoodcommunity we got around 12 grams of essential oil. Very small yield, though we hope further tests will give better results. This is the reason why essential oils are expensive, lots of plant material needed but very little oil extracted.
This month we celebrate our individuality and freedom as a nation of Filipinos. May everyone take pride in our identity and the produce our land has to offer. Check out our offers this June on our products made with ingredients natively found here in the Philippines at our website.
Through the help of @goodfoodcommunity we sourced some Sweet Basil organically grown by a farming community in Angat, Bulacan. We're putting this in our distiller and try to get some essential oils out of it. We're only expecting a small yield, but we're hoping nature to surprise us.
