There is nothing sweeter than this time with our children. Photographing motherhood, the love of a mother, the spirit of her child. Is there anything we want to hold onto longer than that?
Who you were before you became a parent seem like the faintness of memories. As soon as you felt that first little kick, the world became anew.
What an age for little V. She’s strong, fearless and knows exactly what she wants. The world is her playground and she can’t wait to find out what’s next.
Staying warm in bed with this little one sounds amazing on this colder morning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyone else not ready for cooler weather?
The days leading up to this moment I get to hold you in my arms, seem like an eternity ago already. Time is a silly little thing. We must capture these moments before they vanish.
Looking back on these portraits of baby Jaxson when he was so tiny and fresh. Oh how they grow so quickly this first year!

Almost always, it takes a few moments for children to warm up during their sessions. And that’s perfectly normal. I take my time to let them warm up to me, which is so important during our time together. In the meantime I love being able to capture their sweet innocence. Because for a sliver, they show us their vulnerability and how much they still need our love and connection as parents to be there with them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Time will soon pass and they will start to bloom!
Fall is here already! I will be announcing my fall session dates on Friday. Only a handful of spots left you don’t want to miss.
Having so much fun with mama!
Everyday I am so grateful to my clients who invite me into their lives to capture their precious families on film. When I try to use digital, it just does not compare. Film is what gives me life and purpose to create these beautiful images for you.
Hope you had a relaxing labor day weekend! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am recovering from my trip to Charleston without the kids and hoping to visit again soon. I missed them incredibly but giving yourself some alone time is also important. I know I can’t try to be that “perfect” parent all the time and giving myself a break every so often really helps me appreciate my world and the gifts I am already blessed with.
