IT’S HAPPENING NOW! The One Room Challenge is live! The entryway, laundry room and double staircase makeover felt like a lot more work than we anticipated and this reveal feels like sharing a brand new baby with the world... super exciting yet completely terrifying. So rather then do it all at once (you’re welcome to visit my blog - link in profile), I’m going to be sharing different views of this project over the next week. - SWIPE to take away all the personality. - I have several sponsors to thank and feature. Some are shown here and more will be shared I future posts. - Wall colour is Good Jeans provided by @clarepaint Wallpaper is Endless Summer by @york_wallcoverings designed by @avivastanoffdesign Hardware provided by @emtek_products Lettie Flushmounts provided by @hudsonvalleylighting Rugs provided by @loloirugs Artwork from @shehitpause and @alexa_sees_in_color
One piece or two piece? I’ll take anything with a high waist (sharing a few I have my eyes on in stories now that we’re spending a lot of our days in the pool). In other news the final piece of the one room challenge puzzle arrived 🌟 and I am gearing myself up to style, photograph and blog it 💃! I’m debating posting it Saturday morning but also realizing that it’s the 4th of July and wondering how many of you are planning to take a social media break that day? Happy almost Friday!
🌸 STAIRCASE REVEAL 🌸. SWIPE to see the ugliest carpet stickers & Andrew’s enthusiasm for removing our dusty old carpet 😆. We are almost at the home stretch of our entryway project (🤞🏻 the final piece of art arrives today) so I wanted to share one big part of this transformation. I really wanted a fun runner that would also conceal 3 children’s worth of dirt. The @loloirugs Alchemy rug in silver/graphite was the perfect choice. I’m sharing the full stair makeover and diy runner tutorial up on the blog linked above and in stories. What do you guys think of the change?

When I bought these peonies last week I envisioned myself artfully holding them in a vase whilst posing for a reveal photo for our entryway project. Instead they wilted in our bathroom where I precariously hid them from Gus, aka the cat that likes our plants 🤦🏼♀️. But you know what I keep repeating to myself... better done how we want, then on time. Because you guys, I am totally in love with our entryway and can’t wait until every detail is checked off and I can buy new flowers and take pics 🌺. Happy Saturday. (Head to my stories to style this bathroom yourself)
Accidental room reveal ⚡️. Somehow with another major reno going on in the house these last couple of months we found ourselves with a completed almost-3-year old appropriate room. Why was this an accident? Well because I ordered the wrong size of this beautiful Joaquin collection (in Dove / Grey) rug from @loloirugs for our entryway and it happens to fit perfectly in Ben’s room. Don’t worry the rug we did pick for our entryway is perfect and I can’t wait to share the final reveal with you! Now tell me, pets on the bed YES or NO? (We’re a definite yes as evidenced by Gus).
