Behind the scenes of me at work on the streets of Edbinburgh. Always fun to get out and about, using the location for inspiration.
End to another week. Time just flies! Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?
Four years ago this week, EBM Photography was born! What a crazy ride it’s been. You may think from my social media that it’s always great, but that’s far from the truth! The number of times I’ve had doubts are too many to count! - doubts about my ability as a photographer, my ability to run my own business, to make it successful. The amount of tears that have been shed when something doesn’t go to plan, or when I’m on the verge of quitting, could fill a river! The lack of sleep when I worry that I’m not making a profit, or that I’m going to let my clients/friends/family down. So to everyone who has been with me on the journey, who has supported me, and has helped along the way, I THANK YOU!
I admit it feels awkward, but I’m STILL going to introduce myself anyway! It’s my way to connect with new friends and give me an excuse to chat with old ones. I’m Emma, and I am a photographer...a photographer who happens to be 31 weeks pregnant! I started my business because I love to create images, but I also spend a lot of time on craft projects - especially crochet! How about you? Let me know who you are in the comments below because I’d love to say hello! #30daysofsc
One of my favourite quotes. Sometimes you want something really badly, but it’s not meant to be. Trust that life will provide what you NEED, rather than what you think you want.
One thing I love as we come into summer is all the yummy fresh berries. Especially locally grown strawberries. Great to support local businesses as well as getting a tasty dish for breakfast. The only thing better than that is strawberries grown to n your very own veg patch and picked right before eating. Yum! What’s your ultimate summer food?
