On Thursdays we wear Proenza and match our pedicures to the carpet. ♥️♥️♥️
Pretty excited to have this classic Scalamandre zebra paper installed in the guest bath today. 🦓💛🦓 My grandmother was an interior designer and always had bold powder rooms in her home. I know she’d love the yellow theme I chose for this renovation and that makes me love it even more! 🦓💛🦓
Things I love: Zigs, snow, skiing. 🐶❄️⛷ Today delivered 3/3.
Happy Earth Day! 🐝The ranch is now home to two hives of busy, buzzy, pollinating, honey bees!🐝 I spent today harrowing fields in prep for irrigating, caring for the critters, and feeling grateful for this beautiful planet. 🌎💙 Every year I pick a way to better my footprint and this year I’m devoted to finding a recycling solution as there’s no pick up at the house. 💙🌎I think it could be as basic as outdoor bins that I transport to town when full.
Happy #nationalpuppyday to/from my favorite ski partner, munchkin, fraggle, adventure pup, bunny chaser, Ziggy Zigs! 🐶💗🐶
Nothing but friends on a powder day. ❄️❄️❄️After lots of skiing @powdermountain 🏔, my first power hour 🍺, and too many tacos to count 🌮, I’ve started the trek back to WY. ❄️❄️❄️ My legs are sore and my heart is full. 💗
Guys guys guys. I’m now completely obsessed with @smithoptics. 💗I placed a pro form order last week and paid for speedy shipping. Sadly, my order was lost in the universe never to be found. While that could have been the end of the story, it’s not! 💎Cassie on the Smith team is so fantastic at her job that she redid the order, gave me a direct contact number, honored my discount AND took care of overnight shipping to my hotel in Jackson so I’d have my new toys for my weeklong ski trip.🌟 So above and beyond and very much appreciated! Thank you!💗💗💗Social media is full of complaints and I think it is really important to share stories like this to brighten this often dark space.
I realized I’ve never been super showy about my job on instagram. A while back, I set a goal to become a licensed #Realtor in both Wyoming and Colorado, two states I love with all my heart. 🗝 I’m so excited to announce that along with my thriving Colorado business, I’ve joined a brokerage in Wyoming to continue growing within the unique residential, land and ranch markets. 🗝 What makes me different: I create a strategic plan for each seller and buyer to ensure that every sale accommodates my clients’ best interests. With a background in marketing, I utilize efforts that are diversified across traditional and digital outlets with sophisticated, tasteful branding. Coupled with outstanding market knowledge, clear communication and detailed transaction management, this inclusive approach helps clients feel educated and confident in making the smartest decisions on the largest transactions of their lives. 🗝 Please think of me for all your real estate questions and selling & buying needs: www.JillianSmithHomes.com Branding by: @onecreativebird License disclosure: All Wyoming business done under Coldwell Banker The Legacy Group and all Colorado business done with business partner @jessicapeterson3295 under PorchLight Group.
💎💎💎 After a week of warm weather, an ice storm covered the ranch today. Everything feels a bit like Narnia which is beautiful to look at, but kinda miserable to do much else. 💎💎💎 Does anyone else remember the book/film the Ice Storm from the 90s? Always a favorite.
Fuzzy wuzzy Danny on the snack attack. 🐴💗🐴
💗Happy Valentine’s Day! 💗
Yesterday, I learned how to drive a snowmobile. Well, mostly I learned how to dig one out of waist deep snow. ❄️❄️❄️I joined Johnson County Search and Rescue thinking “I’m super fit, I have lots of helpful outdoor skills and fancy certifications, I have a great attitude and like people.” What I’ve learned is that a lot of the job around here requires brawny grit. I’m lucky to be part of a team that can fill in the brawn and hopefully I’m proving I have the grit. ❄️❄️❄️While yesterday was pretty miserable, at least WY has lots of snow and beautiful, crowd-free areas to play, like this meadow off Bull Creek in the Big Horns.
50+ in the last days of January isn’t very helpful to the snowpack, but we switched gears and went for a hike on one of my favorite loops out of Hunter Corrals. ❄️❄️❄️ Luckily cooler temps and more moisture are on the way.❄️❄️❄️ Days like this are also a reminder to do better to reduce my impact. Our little town does not offer recycling pick up like I was spoiled with in Denver. This year I’m vowing to make a stronger effort to separate and deliver my recyclables to town along with my ongoing focus of reducing single use packaging.
💙❄️🧜♀️🦋🐬🍭⛸💎🌀 Translation: the @icecastles_ in Dillon were magical!
Head in the clouds and the lift to myself. ❄️❄️❄️The Bighorns have been gifted a pretty stellar season from Ullr and I’m making sure to take advantage before heading South for more client meetings and @outdoorretailer.❄️After a quick break to warm my hands, the sun popped out and I was able grab the last few laps I needed to knock out a run on every trail at our little local hill before heading back to the Bunkhouse office.❄️
I woke up with a snotty nose, tired, feeling kinda meh about something I said 100 years ago. ❄️Then I got up, bundled for the cold, rallied my pup and was greeted with this rainbow stretching across one of the horse pastures while snow fell and the sun rose. ❄️ My hands went numb while taking pictures, but it was immeasurably better than staying sick in bed. 🐴🐶🌈🦄
Sweet dreams, Evergreen! ❤️ Quick client trips feel like luxurious getaways thanks to fireside sleeps in a mountain hideaway provided by the Booths. ❤️Plus giggles.
First day of the season on a lift and it was a great one! ❄️❄️❄️Temps 30+ degrees warmer than in town, surprise powder day, and new (to me) terrain at our local hill.❄️ As much fun as touring with Zigs has been the last few months, lift-served steeps and a warm lodge were exactly what today needed. ❄️💙❄️
