Obviously a trip to @target means stopping in the book section! Found a couple of adorable books. The illustrations are 😍.
This book is speaking my language! I don't have the kids use a lot of sticky notes during reading because sometimes they just need to enjoy a book. Of course it's important to practice all the skills they need to know and I can't wait to see how the authors suggest we do this without the overkill of graphic organizers and sticky notes. Have you read this book? It's reading GOLD!
My Multisyllabic Interventions pack is now updated to include paperless resources for using on a tablet. If you own it, redownload it for free! If not it's on sale through Saturday! Temporary link is in my profile.
A couple of new reads I picked up at the library today. During the summer I love discovering books I haven't read so I can use them in lessons the next year. #summerlibrarytrips
Makes it all worth it. #lastdayofschool
Set up a photo booth at our Hollywood themed party today! One of the girls was trying to take over as photog so I let her take charge. Swipe to see one of the shots she took.
When one of your sweet girls makes you a bracelet in your favorite color with your last name on it, you proudly wear it all day. 😍 #iwillmissthem #allthetearsonthelastday
I just read this book because I have a girl obsessed with sharks. I immediately added it to my Amazon cart! It's a biography about a girl who loves sharks and grows up to become one of the most respected scientists in the world. #girlscanbescientists #followyourpassion
We made products all week that were made out of paper. Today it was time to sell them in the marketplace. All kinds of economics skills were practiced including adding, subtracting, budgeting, supply and demand. Some were really creative including a tree that holds coins and a desk organizer! I even gave them Target bags to hold their purchases. We used @teachingmaddeness economics freebie but made a couple of changes. Such an engaging activity! Swipe to see more products.
