One week ago, 12/20/18, we welcomed our sweet gal into this world. Say hi to Winnie Walker Wesley! We love her so ❤️
✨ Peak nesting ✨ Organizing, cleaning...yada, yada...a major focus for me these final couple weeks of pregnancy is (as it always is, really) FOOD. Stocked the freezer with bone broth, easy to eat one-handed snacks and almond flour muffins, some soups and stews, my favorite turkey meatloaf, chicken fajitas, etc. (I know, plastic bags, uggggh. But it’s what fits best in our small-ish freezer.) So far, we are showing impressive restraint not pilfering our stash. Will report back with recipes and what was best! Have any freezer meals/snacks you love? Mamas, what were your go-tos post-partum? Do tell!
I’ve never looked forward to winter...but this one is bringing the arrival of one miiiiiiighty special someone 💕#babygirlWesley #29weekspregnant
On #InternationalWomensDay, and every day, a toast to the many inspiring, uplifting, smart, ambitious, supportive, generous, resilient, big-hearted, spunky, kind, kick-ass women in my life ❤️🥂👊
Best tea (and🌵mug) ever. I’d go into a serious panic if @rishitea stopped making this nectar. This shiz is my favorite afternoon pick-me-up 💫
Major 2018 goal: less sitting! As they say, sitting is the new 🚬 🙅♀️Even working out an hour daily doesn’t undo the health effects of sitting on your ass for hours at a time. My goal is 40 minutes standing and 20 minutes sitting while at my computer.
May this year bring you good drinks, big fish and lots of laughs. And maybe even an Astros win?! Happy birthday to my love ❤️
Pickled and fermented things get top shelf status around here 🙌
An all-veg dinner always makes me feel 💫Sprouted quinoa with asparagus and corn slathered in homemade basil pesto + kale salad with roasted carrots, onions, halloumi cheese and pumpkin seeds 🌱
