6 more months to go! Any advice on what to do these next 6 months so that we can still get the things done but also really enjoy this time?
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it over and over again. Don’t make your engagement and wedding photos the only photos you and your person have taken together. These were taken by @imelizabethlauren before Brent proposed and I am so happy we have them! Hire a photographer just because. I promise, you will not regret it.
I’m posting this because I love that black wall so much 🖤 And if you didn’t see my post yesterday about my new donation project, you should go check it out if you like supporting beautiful pieces of land. Which you should. Photo: @oliviastrohmphoto
I am so unbelievably excited to announce this. National Parks were a huge part of our family vacations growing up. Road tripping all throughout the West, visiting just about every national park my parents could find. Making us take pictures in front of rocks and signs with annoyed faces. Now, I want to go back to every one of these parks and take the same pictures in front of all these signs all over again. I want to make sure these parks are around for my kids and their kids one day. I want them to wonder why we are choosing to go see a bunch of rocks on our family vacation instead of Disneyland for another day. These parks need our help now more than ever. So I have decided to donate 5% of each wedding or elopement booked and 5% of each Premium Starter Kit sold to the National Park Foundation to help preserve these gorgeous pieces of land. I have so many memories from these parks, from brothers refusing to get out the car, to a freezing cold Yellowstone trip, pretending to be thrown in the hot springs, running all around orange rocks and trails and reluctantly getting out the car for a picture in front of the entrance sign and racing back to the car as soon as the shutter went off on the camera. Donating 5% is what I can do to give back. So if you still need a florist for a wedding or finally want to try some oils, your money will now go towards helping to preserve our National Parks. What kind of memories do you have from these parks?
