It may look like fall outside, but the sunset at Kelcy’s Lake Geneva senior session let us hold on to summer a few days longer. I cannot wait to share more of her gorgeous session!
Tiffany and Mike were one of my first Wisconsin couples! It was so wonderful to see the two of them and adorable little Finn!
Fall is always my favorite time of year, and part of it is just the rush and busyness of it all. Does that make me crazy? . I love having a packed schedule and working on a deadline. I feel like I truly accomplish things and check them off because they have to get done. Maybe it's the teacher part of me, but I really love that feeling. . Part of that journey this fall was taking a break from social media. I took most of September off (not that I expect anyone to notice), popping in here and there for a few previews. It helped with the summer to fall transition so much and I felt so much more present in my work. . This week I am finishing up Brittney and Ian's gorgeous August wedding, and adore all of the personal touches they put into their wedding. One of my favorites were these US Geological Survey maps that held lavender for their guests to throw. I wish I could have a scratch and sniff photo because that lavender smelled AMAZING!
Of course I love photographing the big picture on a wedding day, but these small details? These are my favorite moments. ❤️
