Is it weird that I’m still dreaming about the lunch I ate today?! It was so good and I was so hungry...which made it taste even better! The protein is a salmon burger from Costco - one of my favorites!
80 Day Obsession Results!! (Don’t mind my goofy after expression - took the pic at 5am today 😂) . For starters, my goal going into this program was to gain strength and finish the program. Check and check! I didn’t need to lose weight, but what I definitely didn’t expect was to GAIN 7lbs by the end! What?!! Normally the number I am at right now would be a HUGE discouragement to me - I mean, this is a postpartum weight for me, not just an everyday-weight. And yet!! My pics PROVE that the scale can be so very deceiving! Yes, I may still have some thyroid issues which kept me from seeing even greater results (my medicine dosage was lowered partway through the program), but I am pumped to say I am HAPPY with how this program changed me! I would rather be stronger and weigh more than be more “skinny”! . For non-scale victories, this was my first program more than 21 days that I finished in full. I missed two partial workouts and subbed a workout for a run, but otherwise didn’t skip any days. The nutrition plan was SO good for me. I ate more than I’ve ever eaten before! After the first phase, I even increased my calories to prevent weight loss and promote strength building. I felt great eating more protein and veggies than I’m used to! . I ended these 80 days with greater resolve, greater confidence, less turning to food to fill some sort of emptiness that food was never intended to fill. And the satisfaction from completing something like this is huge 😊 oh and doing it with a group of dear friends was pretty awesome too! 🙌🏻 . Thanks for following this journey with me!! I HIGHLY recommend this program!!
DAY 80!!!! NEVER thought this day would come! And booty day was TOUGH! It’s like I somehow expected this final workout to feel easier. 😂 so thrilled to be done but also so sad to be done!! 🙌🏻
A sunshine-drenched day made me think of this verse! There are always great joys ahead, no matter the challenges we may currently be facing. Isn't that a great promise?!
I can't believe this is what deplete week looks like! I eat 6 servings of protein, 6 servings of veggies, a few specific fats, and one carb each day. It's so much food that I don't find myself missing more carbs/fruit! I'm excited to see how I'll feel at the end of the week!
This is 80 Day Obsession PEAK WEEK! This week, we have a modified nutrition plan to get the very best results, and we do one of Autumn's favorite workouts from the whole program each day this week. This first one was awesome! I have to say, I am really sad to come to the end of this program...but I'm also pumped to have completed it! Even if I didn't complete it with perfection! It has been an incredible journey!
