There is something so intrinsic and deep about feeling heard, being seen. Witnessed. Understood. We are human because we are connected. Because we know we are loved even when we feel unlovable. We are all one. Our common humanity unites us. When one bleeds we all bleed. When one cries we all cry. When one hurts we are all hurt. #love #connection #healing #listening #unity #strength #kindness #compassion #sowing #reaping #fittolead
The body keeps the score. In so many ways. Mind. Emotions. Spirit. Soul. All connected. Just keep on moving. Keep on keeping on. #health #wellbeing #today #walk #run #hike #heart #fittolead
Such an uplifting conversation with my good friend Fausto this morning. I didn’t even have to bring up Trust and it jumped into the conversation with both feet!! We’ve been collaborating on a mini-project at the Arc in Islington with @damienalexbrown for some time ...and suddenly this huge opportunity has opened up. Think “the long walk to Spain to see his Grandma” meets “local community listening” and crowdfunding for bigger causes.. talking about Trust for Actions that matter. Creating conversations that matter. Telling stories. Being human! All in one space. Say it with me: #1BillionWhispers What happens when you create space? What do you fill that space with? #trustMatters #toTrustIsHuman #theGlobalTrustProject #trust
One of the Key Initiatives of the GTP is teaching the art of listening. Truly and deeply listening. What comes from this is conversation. Then dialogues that discuss actions for change. If you’d like to be a part of the Listening Crew - please get in touch so we can arrange a conversation that moves us to dialogues. www.theglobaltrustproject.org #theArtOfListening #TalkAboutChange #ConversationsThatMatter #ActionBasedDialogue #1BillionWhispers #letUsDiscussTrust #SDG17 #SustainableDevelopmentGoals #Trust17

We always think we have more time. We are all SO connected. I feel everything and the last few days have been no exception. Rolled into that, yesterday at mid morning I felt so strongly I needed to contact the new owner of my dog, Oscar to see him. I was busy so I didn’t; he passed at 1130. The last lines of this Mary Oliver poem are some of my favourite. I quoted them twice already today. To live in this world... so In Blackwater Woods” by Mary Oliver – In Blackwater Woods Look, the trees are turning their own bodies into pillars of light, are giving off the rich fragrance of cinnamon and fulfillment, the long tapers of cattails are bursting and floating away over the blue shoulders of the ponds, and every pond, no matter what its name is, is nameless now. Every year everything I have ever learned in my lifetime leads back to this: the fires and the black river of loss whose other side is salvation, whose meaning none of us will ever know. To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.
